Some impressive Deadlifting!

World's Strongest Man..undisputed.

I think guy that posted that video miscalculated the weight. There are only 8 plates aside on the 410kg lift. meaning if it's standard plates it's 765 and if it was in KG it is still the same. It would have to be 25kg plates and then he would only have 10kg left for the bar and the bar doesn't weigh 22 pounds! But still impressive to say the least.

I also like it when the camera shakes, and the clips come off the bar. He is obviously putting some tape on the end of the bar to act as a bushing for the plates as an extra safety measure.

They are 25kg plates, remember this is at his gym in Lithuania. In the both vids the outside larger plates are slightly smaller than the rest making up for the difference.

Cool how it looks like an earthquake when he lowers. I also kind of like his roll it forward, pause, roll it back and give it hell approach. I might try that....

Wow... all i can muster up to say.

I'd like to see a breakdown of his weekly planning. Just how much time Z spends on training. Both in the weight room and out.

i have a question on dlifts and instead of opening a new thread ill ask here
are you supposed to drop the weight (if your using rubber weights) or control it on the way down?

i was told by a football coach if i dont drop it then pause a couple second between each repat the bottom...should i just go with no pause at the bottom?

No you still pause at the bottom, letting the full weight down. No touch and go, no dropping the weight.

Control it all the way down.

You sound like a coach that has had a lifter drop his deadlift and then gotten 3 reds because of it...

...or the owner of an expensive bar or plates or floor...haaa
