Some bad cramping here!!!!!

I have a problem with my hamstrings cramping up during my workouts. Dan Duchaine says that quinine sulfate will eliminate cramping. No clen or other diuretics. I drink 1 gallon of water consistently and have a good balance of calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium and still cramp up. I wil cramp up in the middle of the night in my calves as well. So I'm hoping that quinine sulfate will help. Any personal experiences? I pulled my hamstring as a result of this cramping and I do not want it to happen again.

See a doc bro....nothing we can really tell you over the net that might help as we don't have access to a full physical exam.


Strectching everyday may help
 
A good way to relieve hamstring cramping during a workout is to use ICY/HOT. Hopefully, the heat will relax the muscle during your workout. If it is truly serious pain, though, you might have actually torn a hamstring muscle.
 
So far so good with taurine but I haven't done any speed as of yet since my hammy is still feeling out of it. I don't have all my flexibility back but I can touch my toes but not press my upper body on my leg yet. I stretch everyday sometimes two three times a day.
