At first it sounded like he was just fucking around at a party and put the thing to his mouth.........but listening to the news today it sounds like he was actually ripping it...??? what's the deal? If he was "really" taking hits, he's a fucking moron to do that in a place where he don't know everybody. Ever seen a cell phone big guy?..jesus.
 
You're assuming he didn't know them and some friend or friend of a friend didn't just post the pic in a namedropper moment. He should really be kicking the ass of whoever uploaded the pic. Surely they're cut out of his 'entourage of people who get free shit' now.
 
IMHO it's worse if he did know them and they STILL uploaded the pics. Those entourage folks just screwed themselves out of some possible cash if they did
But Phelps should have known that people were going to apply the "role model" phrase to him. (I'm with Charles Barkley that sports start are NOT role models) If so , he should have removed himself from that behavior instead of engaging in it

What a joke. I mean Dude wins 8 gold medals. Eight. I mean I can't think of anything that I have done 8 times that has any merit what so ever.
However 8 gold medals. Yes I understand that he is a role model. However, I also understand he won 8 gold medals. If anything, I think it is a positive message to people who may have a discerning mind that yes. They may see the encompassing picture.

I mean do you know how many chemicals he was on to win 8 gold medals... they said in 94 that 90% of all olympic athletes were doping, I doubt that has changed.

Better performance through chemistry, but relaxing and connecting through thc is disdained upon.

If anything its a wake up call that this war aganist drugs in this day and age is really kinda silly.

Antidepressants, Stimulants, Benzodiazepenes..

I'm glad he got caught. I"m not pro drugs at all. However in this 'field of time' our culture is outcome based. This technological age demands productivity.
The binds of interpretation, perception, they do not come to the forefront as much as 'immediate' sensation, and production, because they cannot be observed, they have no meaning. That being said... these antedeluvian contradictions are hilarious to me.

Either way, he will be just fine.
 
ahhh, so he really was smoking the ganja............meh, good for him. But if it loses him sponsors that's life. I personally would not buy anything from a company that pulls it's sponsorship from him, but obviously there are people who "wouldn't" buy something from a company that contiued to sponsor him. Like I'll bet if Mountain dew sponsored him they'd probably laugh at the notion of pulling any money out of him, their entire consumer base are potheads...lol

I don't think people care from a 'performance enhancing' perspective, but you can bet that the people paying him millions to endorse their products care. Almost all endorsement deals contain a 'morals clause', and you're going to see most if not all the companies who paid him megabucks exercise those clauses to get out of their deals.

I sense the formation of the anti-anti-pot boycott group!

Of course, I bet the group won't mobilize nearly as often as they want to. It's probably more of an "eat doritos and play x-box" group.
