hmmm. you mean anal? cuz Heather prolly is in an unsavory state at the moment, and would require a fair amount of climbing gear to get in a proper position. IP, well, i think she could turn a guy flaccid with a single word...

Is she hot?
I think she is. She has dark long hair, very pretty smile, nice body. She is pretty classy, no inappropriate pics, etc.

You know me better than that, HR. :) Hehe. The chances of that happening are slim to n.. well, there are no chances. LOL.

Yup. Imaginations are a great thing... unless you're Peter of course (here ... we... goooo ...).

LOL! How's baby?
The baby is good. He is big and very active and healthy. I have to get the amnio done on Monday and am scared of the pain. I went last week for an initial appointment with that doctor though and he seemed like he was very gentle. So, hopefully the results will reveal all is well with the baby.

I get a 3D ultrasound on that day, too. I'm looking forward to that. have you seen those. They are incredible. You can see the baby clear as day.

I htought they did away with the giant needle test. Normally needles don't bother me but a really long one in my belly makes me squirm a little.

No, they haven't done away with that. I can refuse it if I wanted to, but they want me to do it because I'm over 35. They test for down's syndrome, spinal bifida, etc.

The idea of a big needle into the uterus from the belly in sounds pretty freightening to me, but it is for the baby. :worried:

Hope it doesn't hurt too badly.

When my fiance went they said they could tell from a blood test or ultra sound or something like that. They said it really wasn't necessary.

Because she is young, sweetie.

What do you mean? you don't think I should do it? I'm going to ask him about the risks on Monday. There are risks, which is why they don't do them routinely in people under 35.

I think they can tell by some othr way. I squirm thinking about that shit. It just doesn't seem right but then again I was getting dizzy minutes before my little guy was born.

Well, the 3d ultrasounds tells lots about it. The amnio is more accurate though. Problem is that there is a small risk that it will make you go into premature labor.

do you want to really get stabbed in your stomach? I'll ask some of my aunts they had a bunch of late kids. but then again all of them are fine and my grams prolly had the unecessary amnio. Remember youre going to have the baby either way and love it no matter how it comes out. But i do think they can tell by the share of its head or something about their head in the ultrasound with DS. I think not totally sure cause I didn't go to all the dr appts.

I'm not sure...honestly. I'm just parroting what my OB/GYN and the perionatologist told me. I think with spina bifida there is some surgery that they can do while baby is still in the womb to fix it. With down's syndrome, of course, there is nothing that I could do anyway. No, I really don't WANT the foot long needle jabbed in me like a shishkabob, but I am so worried about genetic defects because of my age that it really would put me at peace to know for sure that there are no complications.

I worked with a guy when I was in hs who's daughter had it and they did the surgery while the baby was inside. the little girl was fine when I met her when she was 2.
