anyway, Razor.......why the hateorade on Ms. Boyle? I mean that woman is going to make a nice little living for herself no matter what. No she might not make "millions", although if she's got Cowell managing her who knows. But she's going to make enough money to live a nice fat retirement in the beautiful scottish countryside. I don't watch these types of shows but don't I understand it correctly that the people who come close but DONT WIN are actually the ones that prosper the most as their 2/3 place finish means that the show does not OWN THEIR ASSES for the next, what 10 years or so greatly limiting their opportunities? From what I understand that when a contestant wins their obligation is to PROMOTE THE SHOW - NOT THEMSELVES.

Seriously, didn't the runners-up of the American Idol programs go on to become much more successfull AFTER the competition? Or did I misunderstand (which I very well may have).

You're all talking as if she just cares about the money. She doesn't strike me as that kind of woman.

...and as Tatyana said she didn't win because she was such a strong favourite already. People who watch those shows like the underdog story. She was the underdog but she quickly became the favourite and for that reason didn't win. The dance act that won were pretty good but i preferred the other dance act (Flawless).

Although I watched the show i'm glad it's other...was getting sick of hearing about it. Sadly it's time for yet another Big Brother - the show which highlights the worst humanity has to offer.

It's the same as anything else. You or I could learn to dance, chances are we'd never be as good as some of those guys. I could learn to sing better, chances are i'd never be as good as Susan Boyle. Both are talents. Both require a natural aspect and hard work to be the best. That's the way I see it anyway.

Magazines have been using this tactic for decades. By picking the man of the year or whatever that is clearly a scandalous choice. Just to get people talking all day and spreading the word.
