I am with you guys on this one too. I don't know how many of my friends (male and female) have come to me for dieting advice and after giving them the reality of what is and isn't healthy no one wants to listen. The funniest thing is when I tell them to stop eating white rice and switch to brown they always say "I can do that I like brown rice." The next time I am at their place what are they eating? White rice..... what a waste of my time trying to help.

That and another thing about rice....a serving is a half cup........you dont need to cover your entire plate a half in deep, and then put shit on top of it....

That's funny you mention that. I know WHY they order the diet coke instead of coke, because it tastes different, that is the ONLY reason.

I use to drink coke all of the time, met my wife who was a diet coke person, anytime I was at her house, while we were dating I would drink diet coke. Now I can't touch regular coke, it is like drinking pure sugar. :worried:

My bro came over to workout last night, hes a douche when it comes to lifting and eating. His preworkout meal was 3 rice crispy treats. Before he ate them I smashed them a few times with my fist. His post workout food is usually a pizza followed by a ciggy and coca cola. He won't listen to me about eating but ask how I have an 8 pack. He usually leaves my house pissed cause I rip on him the whole time.

I love watching him curl 25's and struggle, funny he is 6'3 215lbs and weak as shit. My girl lifts more than he does, serious. After he's done, he does his flexing and says 'I got a mad pump' I'm thinking to myself 'yea from all 2 sets you did'.

Haha, I have this one friend who is trying to drop a few pounds(more like 20+) and I see him at the gym every once in a while. At times he will even cancel on friends to hit the gym. This would be ok in my book if he was really doing something at the gym. But yesterday he rolls into the gym just as I'm finishing my workout and goes straight to the weights. I went down to play some bball and 15-20mins later hes walking into the locker room.... I'm like WTF done already? then he walks out to a cardio machine... some random leg walking weird thing. Prolly the one he found the easiest to do.... and 5-10 mins later hes done...

WTF?? Like hes getting anything out of this? His heart rate prolly increases more from staring at the hot chicks at our gym than it does from his workouts... and he wonders why hes not making progress.
