My car up with gas and it clicked (stopped) so I removed the nozzle and what happens... suddenly there's a huge hole in the hose and gasoline starts spraying everywhere (the computer stopped the gas from going into my car but there's always leftover in the hose and under the ground)... all over me, the side of my car, the ground.... There were cars sitting in the lot running and an idiot smoking, too.

So I plugged it into my car because there was one position where I could put it where it was only spraying on the ground and ran in to tell the guy (who was Indian and had a hard time understanding what I was telling him until I spoke in broken english), and he turned everything off.

I was pissed because my car was full of gasoline, as well as myself and everything around it - very dangerous.. when other idiots in the station noticed this, they didn't do shit...not even turn their cars off or put their ciggarettes out. Fuckin' morons in our world... common sense doesn't seem to appeal to them...

That is just freakin' nuts. I mean, I kid you not I was dripping in gasoline.. do you know how scary that is? LOL. I thought I was going to blow up - especially being surrounded by idiots with an IQ of 20.

No. They were just being dipshits and standing there staring... just watching.. someone could have ran in to tell the guy while I was getting sprayed...

No one does anything ... people would rather watch than act which really gets to me. Last year Peter and I were driving and a beautiful husky ran into the middle of a busy intersection and no one did shit... I opened the door (we were pulled up about to turn left on a green light in the intersection) and started to whistle and call the dog (as people were being idiots and just dodging the dog instead of stopping)...I had to shut the door because people were flying by me on the right but luckily we were in a convertible.. I got ahold of the dogs leash, grabbed her collar with one hand and the leash with the other and yanked her over the side of the car as we were turning... returned her back to her owner and what did the owner say? Nothing. I had just had surgery the day before.. I should have kept that dog.

People really do disgust me sometimes... no one ever wants to help it seems. And that situation also, pissed me off.

Wow. You are an idiot. Let's see -can I control the fact that there was a hole in the hose which didn't start spraying until the pump stopped, my canadian friend? Are all canadians as feebleminded as you?

Save yourself the grief. I thought you weren't going to ever post to me again...? Right.

there ya go thinking again.. that must hurt..

you actually said you were "ignoring me" brilliant job on that one.

MAYBE!?!?

hold on..

JUST MAYBE!?! if there is a "HUGE" your words not mine, HOLE in the gasoline tube like something that shouldn't be there..

you shouldn't stick it in your car, and start pumping gas??

I usually get my gas at a credible gas stations.. just saying..

Also I have a bit of a higher intelligence then to insult the intelligence of an entire country, I know alot of Americans out there must be more intelligent then you, and I wouldn't drag your entire country into this.

but that's just me.

sidenote : thinking of you dripping in gasoline definately made my day, thanks.

LOL. What a simpleton you are. A hole could mean anything with a puncture in it. Even if there was a sliver in something (like someone took a knife and sliced it), it wouldn't SHOW a hole (I don't sit and inspect gasoline hoses and this one, no one would have known). Not to mention (if you read which may be hard for you), it was fine giving me gas... it wasn't until it clicked off that it started spraying.. now, with a circular hole (which seems to be what you were thinking), gasoline wouldn't SPRAY. Think of pressure and the physics behind that. What happens when you are watering your grass with a hose that has a circular opening... it slowly falls, right - not spray? Well put your finger over it so a sliver is showing and what does it do? Spray.

Please, stop while you can.

Well if there is a HUGE difference between a sliver in a hose and a HUGE (your word) hole in a hose.

where did you buy your gas sounds pretty fugging run down.

besides I'm a good person, so things like this don't happen to me, maybe you should revaluate yourself, you could have died today! lolol.

sprayed with gasoline!!! LOLOLOLOLOL.

simpleton.. ha.. I'm pretty complexe, but I don't need a fancy cake to make people come to my BBQ's. (maybe that makes me simple)

P.S. How is ignoring me going for you? LOLOLOL.

You are too easy, my friend. Tell me, are all canadians as dimwitted as you? The hole was a huge sliver since it completely drenched my car, the ground, and myself.

P.S. I'm not Catholic or an extremist... I don't believe in that shit. Oh, and in Canada, do you tell the people ahead of time what kind of cake you're getting? You dipshit, no one knows that there will even be cake at the BBQ. In our country, we don't publicize what the dessert will be on the invitation. Lmfao. Simpleton.

now really who is being simple?

you've used this against me twice now... in three posts..

run down gas stations = higher chance of a problems or lesser quality in gas.

you can change the wording around as much as you want, the fact of the matter is, you smell like gasoline and I don't.

hahah.

Oh and btw, I'm not your friend, I don't really like you, I figure maybe if I spell it out for you, you'll understand.

*I'm going to stay away from that "easy" comment, because that would really be to "EASY" peter.. lolol.

you're really acting like an ignorant person.

Especially considering the learning curve is so extreme in the united states in comparison to canada. Per capita people in canada, especially in alberta recieve a much better highschool education.

also it's ok the more intelligent people can understand, at least that's what my K messages are telling me.

Plus I understand everything you're saying perfectly fine.

you've knocked my country three times in four posts, you're really a champion of diversity.

I don't need to belittle you, as you do a pretty good job of that yourself.

Keep thinking about why I highlighted that - maybe you'll get it.

probably because you're a moron and think it was spelt wrong.

or.. you're a moron and you don't understand sarcasm.

Usually when someone does the same thing 3/4 times being diverse is something they are not.

I'm in awe that someone on the intranet who calls people "peeps". Is really so concerned about grammar and sentence structure. This isn't an essay.

Also coming from you.. who often has 6 periods between 10 words.. grammar really isn't something you should be preaching.

people are enjoying my posts, mostly I'm enjoying it.

I actually think about everything I do, just because your mother told you that you are special and intelligent doesn't mean it's true.

IP, there's no reason to call them idiots with an IQ of 20. they are hardworking people and are working there for any number of reasons, but if english was not their first language, that's probably why they are there... doesn't make them less intelligent. it makes them hardworking.

that being said, i've never heard of anyone purposely speaking in broken english in order to be understood. I'm sure the situation was scary, and I can't quite tell from your post where the gas was coming from, but insulting the people that work there when you were the one pumping the gas and covered in it seems a bit elitist.

Actually, we pay for it also, but we're not gauged like American students are.
We also have a government that suppliments our education so we are all educated.
Canadian Universities are some of the best in the world!

McGill is in Montreal (where I live) and Queens is in Kingston.
Queens is known for their sciences and McGill for law and medicine.
University of Western Ont is known for it's biz program

They weren't people who worked there. It was regular people getting gas. And they were all (from what I saw) white american. I was not insulting the Indian man either, I was just saying that it was irritating since I was trying to explain to him what was going on... which was something that was pretty dangerous. I was just upset because it seems that people don't do anything... and you're right, perhaps I shouldn't have said these people had an IQ of 20 - I was just in awe that people did nothing and the gas was coming from the hose (there's the nozzle and then the thick hose leading to the where the gas comes from).

i didn't think the insult had anything to do with him being indian.
i was just surprised you insulted anyone's intelligence after you told sublime that his insults were a way to make him feel better about himself feeling inferior (or something to that extent). it was hypocritical, is all.

but i did think you were talking about the attendants, and maybe its because i'm finishing up "the kite runner", but the father came here from afghanistan as a well known businessman and had to work in a gas station here.
i can't see insulting someone for the level of their job- i'm just glad they are working and not on welfare, which would certainly be easier than pumping gas all day.

it sucks that nobody helped you. I don't know what i would have done if i was there, other than run from the explosion.

Thats just how it is around some areas unfortunately. Shit, most people won't even say hi to you after they stare you down let alone try and help in a time of need.

IP, I agree, most ppl would not help. In Canada they would b/c no one is terrified someone is going to sue them.
Here in Canada, no one sues anyone ;-)

I hate when I see ppl not help animals on the road. Humans are a very disappointing bunch for sure

I didn't mean to insult people who were working or anything. I was (from what I thought) just insulting anyone in general, who didn't do anything. Sorry it didn't come across that way.

And the situation with Sublime and myself is that he was insulting me simply to insult me and nothing else... and it was insult after insult. I am not justifying my insult however, when gas is spraying all over a girl, her car, and the ground, and people aren't doing anything... it's definitely a different story.

Yeah - I forgot what they call this but it something like the "Standy effect," or something or other.. sociology crap. The time that women in NY got beat to death outside her apartment and many people saw from their apartment windows yet no one called or did anything because they thought the other person was going to call or were afraid to, etc.

Not my way of doing things... and I've been in situations similar which just upsets me that more people don't step up.

omgggg my biggest pet peeve. I stop for anything in the road - I don't care if you honk at me, get out and yell, whatever... I stop. I remember once in FL I blocked the road with my car and helped a turtle cross. LOL. Actually, for a turtle, that thing moved pretty fast!

Honestly I don't think you would have done much to help someone else in this situation, it's GAS spraying everywhere, no one wants to get near that.

Would you go running to someones aid when the gas was spraying everywhere?

probably not.

the first human instinct is survival, running towards spraying gas doesn't really appeal to this instinct.

Its messed up for sure. i've helped people who ran out of gas on the side of the road or had car trouble. Last year my buddy and I were on the way home from work and we were a little ways from a stop sign but there was backed up traffic and I seen cars going around another vehicle. When we got closer I seen a mid 90's buick roadmaster and an elderly black man pushing it to the gas station that was still over 300 ft to the intersection. The poor guy had to be in his mid 60's and had his wife and 3 grandkids in the car. So I told my friend to stop when we were about 40 ft behind and I got out and started running up to his car. As I was running I told him to make some room cause he didn't see me coming. When he seen me he had this shocked look on his face and was really gratefull afterwards. He told me "I didn't expect someone lookin like you to help but god bless ya"

That's awesome. I love that kind of stuff. I love helping people. I would definitely help someone in that situation. Now, if it were night time or even day time and it was a guy on the side of the road and I was alone, I don't think I'd stop to help because there are wayyyy too many weirdos out there but that is slim to none. I usually help anyone if I can. I like doing it. I get a high off of it. Especially helping animals... I will always do that, too.

That was really nice of you. I don't see how people driving by could just let an old man push a vehicle all alone.... sad world.

You don't have to run towards the gas to help... someone could have ran into the store which would have saved time/gasoline and the probability of something dangerous happening... the more gas sprays the more likely something bad could happen. I've been in situations, as I have said before, like this... and my first instinct wasn't survival or to run... it was to either help or figure out a way to help.

Fair enough, generally speaking someone in the store probably should have seen this and done something about it.

Either way you probably learned your lesson and won't be going back there to get gas.

That's awesome. I love that kind of stuff. I love helping people. I would definitely help someone in that situation. The funny part is that I was wearing sandals and shorts and no shirt and I have a large mean lookin tat on my back and I seen him looking at it when we were pushing the car. It was cool hearing his grandkids cheering us on while we were pushing. I just don't know how someone could watch a sr citizen try to push a boat of a car full of passengers.

Agreed. And it was a Mobil so it wasn't a shitty gas station. I usually go there to fill my car up but I had never been to that one. Never again.

LOL @ mean looking.
how mean can you look in shorts and flip flops?

Please - he wouldn't be clever enough to pull off something like that. He probably doesn't even know that gasoline + fire = deadly. He's probably one of the people who leaves his car turned on as he's putting gas in - or smoking, etc.
how did you get the gas on you again?

were you trying to suck off the gas nossel? silly, it goes in the car, not your ass

I am not justifying my insult however, when gas is spraying all over a girl, her car, and the ground, and people aren't doing anything... it's definitely a different story.
why should people drop what they are doing and risk getting sprayed by the psycho who cant pump her own gas without getting it all over the place?

I love how he insulted you after you did your good deed. That was classic. He might as well have said that he expected you to kick his ass and rob him. :lmao:
