So I just bought an iPhone 4

tin can finally shit the bed huh?
It's super fucking fast compared to my OG iphone. The apps load up fast and the internet speed is ridiculous. The screen looks bad ass too. The res is sick.
My messenger pigeons didn't come back and smoke signals are too much work
I went to the ATT store to order one. I was expecting a week or two wait for it to ship. They had some 32gb in stock and that's what I was after. The whole process took less than 15 minutes.

signal problems are for real. it depends on how you grip your phone. also for reasons that make no sense to me, if you put a case on it, it remedies the situation. apple was supposed to release a firmware update that was going to fix this, not sure if it has happened yet.
also AT&T sucks.

I'm all over town and I haven't lost 3G service anywhere. I think the signal problems are hype. My boy has had his iphone4 since it was released and he's had zero problems with it as well.
I would be interested to see if this stays the same in a few weeks.
I don't see why it wouldn't stay the same. I've literally drove through six zip codes today and I have not lost signal. That's almost 100 miles so far. Maybe it'd be different without the case, but why would you buy a $300 phone and not put it in a case? lol

It's that fast. I have earthlink DSL. I'm sure it's 3G too. The phone seems faster. It's ridiculous on wifi.

Funny, though, I bumped into a guy from Argentina in NYC, waiting for a cup of joe at the food emporium, and struck up a convo with a dude who had a Nokia E62, their flagship smartphone. he told me he hates the iphone, but looking back now he should've just caved in and got an iphone4, his friends love it.
I dunno, mixed reviews. some people say it cuts out every minute, the others, that apple continues to kick ass and redefine the market.
I've yet to use one, so I don't know.
