So some of you will recall the thread about that girl I slept with the other night that I work with and my boy "likes". Well, suffice to say, it has been weird in the office everytime I see the chick. I didn't really know her before, and when I walked by her today and made eye contact she looked like she was gonna cry (LMFAO!!). So I get an email today from a girl I dated the last few months (who also worked here - yeah, I really think things thru before I have sexual interrelations) but who moved to Philly (we ended our thing a few weeks ago) hinting that she knows.

Which means that some motherfucker from here at work found out about me and the crying broad and went and done run to the girl I dated and told on me. Unfuckingreal. Are we in highschool? I gotta find out who snitched. Cause regardless if it's a chick or a dude, they're getting a mini Yankees bat shoved up their ass.

When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to be a grown up, because then everyone would act, well, all grown up.
As I've grown older, it seems sometimes the adults are worse than the kids. A guy a work the other day commented that if the kids could see how the parents act at work , they'd be appalled.

two reasons:

1) we ended on very good terms. still feelings there. I don't want to see someone I care about hurt. granted, she may have found out later, but there is no need to rub it in her face like someone did.

2) snitching is the NUMBER 1 fucked up thing you can do to someone. it is inexcusable.

Snitching is the number 1 fucked up thing you can do to someone you are loyal toward. There is no loyalty in the office grapevine.

point two I disagree with. it is MORE fucked up if one that is close to you does it, but even from an outsider it's still fucked up.
 
Snitches need to be dealt with...by bat or by implaing them on a picked fence. Either way.

how strong were the hints in the email? any chance of a false positive? thw way i see it, the only 2 people in your office who know are you and her...

if i were you, i would approach the girl who jumped into your bed immediately, befriend her, and with sincerity say "i know that youre not broken up with your bf properly, and havnt let anyone know about the night we spent" then ask if she has confided in anyone. then go from there.

imo relax anyway. the hot girl in the office throwing herself at you raises your value anyway...even to your ex...although that one is a bit fragile. itll just take a bit more talking to soothe her anyway

and if you think thats intrusive, i had people from my city (that i went on vacation with) calling my girl in ANOTHER city (2000miles away), asking if she had done anything with me. it was beyond childlike. i mean sure, guage if someone is still available, but to call them from across teh continent to ask if she had had sex with someone? holy fuck social illiteracy at its finest :eek2:

Interesting on the false positive tip. I don't know, I haven't spoken with the ex in over 2 weeks and to my knowledge we were never going to speak again to make things easier. The timing and the original email message ("karma...it came back around") all point towards the fact that she knows.

I shot the chick I slept with an email asking if she happened to know anything about why my ex would be sending me emails like that, in a very non-confrontational manner. I can't really talk to the chick at work, so we'll see what her reply is.

My biggest fear overall is how this latest girl is gonna react overall to the incident. I don't make it a habit to sleep with really drunk girls (haven't done that in years actually), so it always worries me what their initial response is going to be once the guilt and shame settle in. I've seen waaaay to many males shamed simply b/c the girl shunned responsibility and played the victim. I don't know this girl so I don't know how she would play this out. That's why the befriending tactic is a good move, IMO.

Maybe he hinted at it to someone who in turn told your ex? Or maybe he told your ex himself or told her the story of that night and how he and the drunk chick ended up at your crib. The ex could easily infer just from those minute details that you and the drunk chick went at it.

HIGHLY unlikely. He is a good friend of mine and I know that's not his style at all. He has been trusted with many secrets before and has never told anyone. Drunk chick lives with another girl from work, so that could be how it started.

homey, I'm planning a 7-day event for 8 Asians that don't speak English at The Masters. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but it's INSANE. My entire job entails me putting out daily fires and making the impossible happen for my clients. I got worries out the ass. This ranks at about 157 on that list. It's entertaining though.

lmao. I had to send the email to find out if she ratted me out or told anyone. Cause if so, that would set off a chain of events that I would have to be ready for. If not, then I can adjust my plan accordingly. No big deal. Plus it opened up the lines of communication with me and drunk chick - I don't want to feel awkward at work.
