Snakes

They're everywhere. Mostly in the grass. And moist places.
 
Yeah I stepped on a cottonmouth last week and almost got fucking bit.

My dick looked like an extra bellybutton for about two days

My grandfather in Maui had an old post WWII pic of him and about 10 other marines in the south pacific holding up some sort of 20+ foot snake they found.
 
We have a shitload of snakes in So Cal, but nothing big. King snakes, gopher snakes and rattlers are all pretty common around here.
 
Michigan has wolverines I thought?

This is the North Woods bro

Anyway we were walking down to Lake Superior and on the trail was a 2ft slithering ribbon snake and i lost my shit. Full blown panic. Needless to say we walked back to the car and went home.
 
Are those venemous?

Only bad snakes around here are moccs, cottonmouths, rattlers and coral snakes. I think those are the only poisonous ones that live around here. We have a shitload of snakes but for the most part they are like king snakes, garters, grass snakes, milk snakes or chicken snakes...
 
a buddy of mine got bit by a copperhead last year. looked like he fell off the lawn mower and ran himself over. I'll see if I can find pics
 
What we have here, little yellow sister, is a magnificent specimen of pure Alabama Blacksnake. But it ain't too goddamned beaucoup.

The ribbon snake i saw is most defnot venomous but that dont fuckin matter when you have a fucking phobia of snakes

dude fuck those things seriously. They hide under shit and wait to fuck you up when you do yardwork. Plus everyone around here lives so far from a hospital that a snake bite could damn well kill you before you got treatment.

I was jumpy as fuck for a few days. Couple sticks laying on the ground got the shovel

thats' why we should sell Texas and NM back to the Mexicans for a couple trillion peso and let them deal with those little fuckers. If I lived where you did I'd have a couple trained pet mongoose and gave em kill rights on anything that "slithered" on to the property.
 
pretty sure after working in the swamps of S.E. LA for over a decade I've had moar encounters with snakes than all of you fgts added together

The only venomous snake here in michigan is the eastern massasauga rattler. Cool story, I know.
