u can take 1000 grams of protein but the big question is it gonna be absorbed into your body.

see some guys just take 100 grams of protein and it is absorbed and some guys take 400 grams of protein and it is only 80 grams absorbed.

absorbtion is the key my friend!

protien is only used when the demand is there . like training for multiple hours at a time. if your not doing that most protien just gets converted to glucose

i only take in about 100 and do just fine

i wouldn't advise to follow his ridiculous, absurd, and ill-informed routine unless your goal, is maintanance.

For being the smartest man in the world, he sure hasnt done a god damned thing with it. I havnt been able to find one reference to any worthwhile work that he's actually done. That makes him an idiot to me. Sorry to go off topic :mix:

He jokingly admits that for being considered a genius he has yet to make a dime off of it. In all seriousness though as a genius I'm sure he realizes that money isn't not the end all be it of life. He has started a foundation to help exceptional children like himself has he had a rough childhood due to his exceptionally high intellect. I think if he decided he wanted to become rich he could figure out a way. As it stands he seems more interested in digesting more information and helping others. That is much more admirable and genius-like than a get rich scheme.

All that aside he admits that he doesn't really follow much with bodybuilding and nutrition due to his other interests. Having a high IQ doesn't mean you are infallible at everything you do, and since most of his study of exercise and nutrition was done years ago his habits are probably based around that time. Leptin was unknown, low fat diets were the norm, etc... There has been a lot of developments in the past 10 years that have turned the excerise and nutrition world upside down and if he hasn't been keeping up with it then he most likely isn't up to speed on them. If he was to study these fields at this time I'm sure he'd have a different view.

yes he said he didnt follow up on the competitve side of bodybuilding. he never said he didnt follow up on nutrition.

"Unfortunately, I have so much reading to do in other subjects that I can't actively follow the sport of bodybuilding, in terms of who's who and what's what. I know of guys like Dorian Yates, but back in the old days, when Arnold and Franco [Columbu] and Lou Ferrigno were competing, was really the last time I followed competitive bodybuilding closely."

the man knows what hes doing and what works for him. all the man does is read books all day long
