No offence, but I dont think he looks like he is anything special. Yes he may be one of the smartest men in the world, but I know that if I started lifting when I was 12, and continued doing it MY way until I was 30-40 something, I would definetly look tons better.

I feel compelled to point out how irrelevant IQ testing is.... it is a measure of mathematical, spacial and problem solving competence.... but says nothing about, for example, someone's artistic, language or philosophical capability.

Marilyn Monroe had an IQ more than 20 points higher than Albert Einstein.

Some the world's leading scientists have IQ's of less than 100.

Anyway.... once again, this is taking what might work for ONE person, and trying to apply it to EVERYONE. We're all different. There's no RIGHT answer about anything relating to bodybuilding.

nclifter6feet6, you really seem extremely narrow-minded to me. Every time you find an article which supports YOUR view on things, you make a big deal out of it.... I'm sure you read countless things which go against your theories, and completely ignore them.

i thought it was atleast an interesting article whether u agree with it or not.

okay your gonna call me narrow minded? narrow minded is following the herd and the fake beleif and believe what everyone tells you. just like you probably still take 300 grams of protien wonderin why your fat. so i think its fair for me to call u stupid

also the man may not look the greatest but he benches 500 pounds, thats pretty damn good

Well, he looks like he eats 100g protein. i've seen the guy in a magazine before. He's fat. He looks like every other middle aged fat guy in my gym. I would have never brought this up, b/c I have nothing but respect for people trying to better themselves. But, you made it a point to use him as an example, so, I thought I should say it.

Actually, I eat more than 300g of protein... usually 400-500g. And no, I don't wonder why I'm fat.... I know exactly why I'm fat, and it's because I eat pies and ice-cream and all kinds of crap stuff. The leanest I've ever been, I got there by taking in large amounts of protein.

I'm not saying his theories don't work for him, and I'm not saying they won't work for anyone else.

You just annoy me. Because you seem to have these ideas set out in your head, and aren't willing to be open-minded about it. Closed-minded doesn't mean following the pack.... it means sticking rigidly to what you already believe and not genuinely considering other points of view. Every time you find an article which supports what you believe, you post it here and beam as if you've PROVEN that you're right.... what you don't tell people, is that you went through several articles which go AGAINST your beliefs, to get to the one which supports them.

Instead of SEARCHING for evidence to support your views, why not consider all the evidence and forge a conclusion based on it? Instead of deciding on the conclusion first and then looking for people who agree with you and ignoring those who don't?

your fat because you take in too much protien and icecream pies.

yes there is COUNTLESS evidence that goes against this guy and and what i say about low protien. the counter evidence is all here all over these boards all over the internet. do you actually think a company or website or bulletin board is gonna push "eat low protien or only eat 70 grams of protien per day". I doubt it. dont you agree? low protien is obvously working for me and this guy. you dont have to listen but i have a right to post just like you do. eating low protien has obviously worked for this guy he benches 500. and it most certainly works for me, im in good shape low body fat and fair amount of muscle for someone my height and dont juice

but i think people should hear both sides

we take in such high amounts of protien because supplement companies hype it. these supplement companies would be making about 0 money if they didnt sell all these protien supplements that we dont need. think about it.

your kinda saying its wrong to back up my own opinion. im just looking to save a bunch of people like me that used to waste so much DAMN HARD EARNED money on FUCKIN PROTIEN that you dont even need. dont just BLINDLY follow the high protien bandwagon.
