Hey all......

Something happend tonight that freaked the shit out of me, and I need to get this off my chest. So I thought I'd rant here.

I've been seeing a girl lately, that is great to be around and fun to talk to. She's very adventurous and open minded. There are some other details that I won't get into here.

But the problem I ran into like a runaway frieght train hitting a bus full of eggshells was this: We were in the middle having sex, and she asks me to smack her around. This was like a ton of bricks hitting me, numbing me to the core. I can NEVER even think of raisng my hand against a woman.

I helped two of my friends though a rough time at one point. He was very abusive and the bruises I saw on her ripped my heart in two. And when this girl asked me to hit her, all that pain I went though with them boiled though my soul, and tore at my heart.

Sorry for the rant guys, but I've seen some of the great support you guys give eath other, and I was thinking I could hear what some of you think......

If you're not comfy with it, then you're not comfy with it. I don't think anyone should feel obligated to step outside their comfort zone to please their partner. Flat out tell her why you don't want to do that...and hopefully she'll respect that-- if she's the kind of girl worth staying with.

Bro, why do you feel bad? Did she know about your previous experience? I doubt it.

So, given the fact that she can't know about that previous "issue" cut her a little slack. She, for the most part was looking to have some fun, and had no idea it was such a sensetive issue with you.

If you can (and you may not be able to be) be honest with her. This may not include telling her the whole story (and the gory details) but the context of the situation.

If you two can move on from that point...good.

Yes and no. Admitedly, it was an incredibly gay comment on face value. However, if he's genuinely uncomfortable and emotional about it because of past experiences it is for his benefit to say something - not her's, and not for the sake of appearing sensitive.
 
I saw in a movie once, this girl wanted her new boyfriend to smack her around during sex and when he finally did, she went to the police and said he'd beaten and raped her.
