Slin Question

The pharmacist told me the Humulin-R did not have to be refrigerated as long as it is kept in a cool dark place. I bought mine and kept it in the bathroom, but now I am worried as I see posts that say it has to be refrigerated. Is my slin fucked up now? Thanks

2 months. I originally thought it was 30 days that it can be without refrigeration, but he said you don't need it at all so I kept it in my bathroom.

Slin will stay good for up to a month if it is kept in a cool dark place.

It is will ONLY last to the EXPIRATION DATE if it is kept refridgerated.

ok, he said you can have it in a cool place for up to a month, after that it loses potency i guess, he just puts it in the fridge when eh gets it and never takes it out, i suggest you do the same

Humalin R is so cheap I wouldn't even think twice about it,toss it in the trash and get another bottle.Just make sure you put this one in the fridge this time.

My ex-girlfriend is a nurse and says they don't refrigerate their insulin. They never have. They just leave it laying around. She works at one of the best hospitals in the state.

Despite this, I always keep mine in the fridge. Why take chances?

Well I just checked the faq in the Ely- LLiLy website and it stated if kept unrefrigerated past 4 weeks, it should be thrown away, so I guess this one is going to the trash, and I will have to go pick up another one. BTW, I will make sure to put it in the frige right next to my HCG this time . Thanks for the replies!

That wouldn't be a problem. I take my pin loaded and keep it in the car so I can inject it as soon as I am done working out. You'll be OK as long as it is not exposed to direct light or high temperatures.

Macho; Thanks brotha! I think I can do that in the winter without a problem, I have a little cooler I can use now because it's hot as hell. It's no more problem than the million other little things we BB's do..
