Sleeping? Mattress Setup

What are you guys spending 33% of your life sleeping in?

My fiance and I have a full size bed but its getting annoying on if I have to toss and turn.

Anybody know of a good deal on a King size mattress/bed setup?

We were looking to atleast get the mattress now and rig up some kind of frame.

We planned to drop the cash on a nice frame and setup later on once we buy our first home next year.
Any ideas?

Tempurpedic's are awesome but you won't find any deals on them.

I haven't slept in a waterbed in years, but always liked them, and they were cheap.
They are still around but seem to have lost a lot of popularity for some reason.

I can sleep on (or in) anything

I have an old ass king bed, no clue what it is but it's firm, I actually want to buy a firm pillow top but dont want spend a lot cuz I'm a broke ass bish

go finance the right mattress for you and just get the metal frame

be creative and make some old doors or something into a headboard.

My wife and I finance our first bed. It was $500 and we used it in the house for 20 yrs.

I've found that everyone is different, and you can't go by what's best for somebody else. The best $3000 mattress might feel like an army bunk to one person, and an army bunk might feel like a $3000 mattress to somebody else. Just go to Sears or some place that has a bunch of different brands and types, and try them. If you like the tempur-pedic memory foam mattress, get the cheapest regular mattress you can find, then go to Costco and get a memory foam topper for $100, and you'll have 100% the same bed as the $3000 tempur-pedic memory foam ;-) .

We have a standard king with a Costco topper, and it's on a remote controlled adjustable Craftmatic frame that originally had an expensive mattress on it. Basically a $6500 setup for about $500.

King size bed, old pillow.

I refuse to lay my head on anything other than the Hästens Vividus.

Sleep number bed. Its the best 3-5k you'll ever spend

My wife wants to get one of those, and we've been thinking about it for a couple months. If all you need is the adjustable firmness and lumbar support, you can save $$$ if you don't need the adjustable (hospital bed style) frame, since you can just use a regular frame for the sleep number mattresses. I think we were quoted $1800 for the two mattresses (two twins = king), if we use our frame.

Charles, i highly recommend it. This coming from someone who spent years in excruciating back pain while sleeping. I have had zero back issues sleeping since i got the sleep number

in all seriousness I'm looking at that as the next option

I have a ridiculously expensive stearns and foster and threw a thick as hell memory foam topper on it and its not even slightly comfortable to me.

I don't get it either, its the same damned mattress and topper as I had before the house fire put in the same dammed spot in the room. I loved the old set up.

Since you mentioned fiance', definitely go king; you'll have little ones sleeping in bed you you before you know it.

I went for the Beautyrest by Simmons after sleeping on one in a hotel room. It's over 10 years old now but when it was new my wife could climb out of bed to go to the bathroom and I never felt it.
