Sleep...?

I know the reccomended number of hours is 8...

I've started a new routine, where i sleep 6 hours, then have to get up early to hit the gym, come home drink my CEE, get a shower, drink a protein shake, and go back to bed for about 1.5-2 hours...

then have a protein / carb filled breakfast upon waking...

the reason for this split is i have to be in and out of the gym before my wife leaves for work, cause the new gym has no day care...

anyone else ever try something like this...? it almost seem like this might not be too bad, asi can get some recovery right away after the workouts, but am not sure how the loss of 2 hours during the night is going to affect me...
6 hours is not bad.

Ok, I had some alcohol in me last night and I'm not going to lie...it was a lot. I went to bed around 4 AM expecting to sleep to at least 2 PM without waking up. I woke up at 11 and couldn't get back to sleep!!! This has been my first experience of self sleep depravation.

what?!!! dude if you were me u wouldnt be able to handle it then. imagine getting 0-2 hours every night for three straight weeks, trying to lift and take classes at the same time. i should be given some kind of medal. oh, and the first 5 days i was awake completely with absolutely not one hour.

How does it feel up there on that pedestal you created for yourself? :FRlol:

Yeah, a medal. Good job, you stayed up for awhile and still managed to fulfill your responsibilities. Why, I've never heard of anyone having done that before!

...Oh wait, yes I have.

actually it feels like shit to know everyone out that gets 6 hours claims they have "insomnia" and its funny to me that people who have real sleep problems would give up both legs to sleep 6 hours a night.

go see your doctor... you can get some prescription pills or maybe you have sleep apnea, which can be corrected as well...

if you're saying you're just too busy to sleep, stop your crying... we've all been there... ;)

I'd volunteer to knock you out every night, but you'd have to be willing a waiver releasing me from any responsibility when brain trauma sets in after said thwacking.

for real? people that literally get 5 hours a week of sleep for a month and still do everything? half the time i had to skip classes because if i stood up for more than 5 minutes i thought i was gonna pass out. thats all im sayin. it pisses me off when people say "fuck i have insomnia. i only got 7 hours last nite." i havent had 7 hours or more in months, and the only times i do is if i take 10 mg of klonopin or some shit. just dont act like u know what im talkin about because u know people that get up and go to work after getting like 4 hours a night. that aint shit. try being up for 6 days and having to go to work. its not as easy as u think.
