Sissy squats..........

Sissy squats are meant to release the tension from glute and give it to quads. That version with a bar on youtube is not safe at all. So forget that video. You should do it medium to close feet stance with a plate or db on you left hand and support yourself w your right hand on a solid object. Go very inclined and try to bring your knees as close to the ground as possible by keeping your heels lifted throughout all the range of motion and without any block under heels. Make sure you switch hands set after set. Aim for 12-15 reps even more if you like it. The name might be diminishing but the exercise is a quad killer and emphasyzes pretty well the knee area. Very good for those who have problems with big asses and hips.
 
if you cant find blocks of wood to place under your feet. You can go to the stripper supply store and buy clear pumps.......Not implying you are a stripper....

That exercise looks so bad for you.........
