And yes, I am well aware that nobody gives a rat's ass about my opinion. The only people reading this thread are eager to argue their own bullshit beliefs plain and simple.
First of all, beliefs are retarded. If you personally BELIEVE in anything, it's because you're a moron. As soon as people start throwing their beliefs around they're just asking for trouble. The whole idea behind a belief is that you don't know for sure if something is true, so you for some reason (i.e. wishful thinking 9 times out 10) decide that you will take that leap of "faith" and believe that it is true. You have to have a motive for that leap of "faith" let us not forget, or else you would never take it.
Second, pride in ANYTHING besides something you PERSONALLY created either directly or indirectly is ludicrous. To have pride in one's country is stupid, unless, I suppose you personally had a hand in some aspect of its present status, such as being a president. If you think that exercising your right to vote grants you some sort of automatic right to take obscene amounts of pride in the country in which you happen to live, then you sir, are a jackass.
I'm getting tired at this point and really want to smoke a bowl so I'm gonna stop here. My essential point is that humanity needs to stop clinging to trivial things. Maybe it's time to turn the microscopic around on YOURSELVES. Think about that shit.
