Not sure how you'd say it's "fair". Because there's really no "fair" or "not fair" in this situation. It's your decision. You're just being really nice.

We could hold a "Who Looks the Most Like Big Brother Val" contest. I'll sign up as the first contestant.

Or... we could post our incomes, and financial obligations, and # of children to take care of to prove the only reason we haven't bought any, is that we truly can't afford it.

Sometimes I have no protein powder at all, and have to rely on eggs, as I just can't afford it.

So it's up to you.

If you do it out of sheer pity for the financially challenged, I'd be a good candidate.
