signature on delivery? opinions, please...

As a newbie to the board, but not a newbie to ordering stuff from far away, I had thought that regular mail was a better idea and not to request tracking/signature/guaranteed delivery as that would put someone on my doorstep handing me something I *might* not have ordered.

Thoughts/opinions appreciated.

I'd then just leave the box unopened for a few days I suppose, just to make sure no one else shows up.

I'm not comfortable with it, but you don't have to use your real signature. Just a name on a piece of paer isn;t real evidence. Though I have to wonder if most stings get that elaborate. I think there's a lot of paranoia started by legal types. Sure, anyone can get busted but I think the guy who does a coupe of cycles a year isn;t a high priority. Meanwhile, if you're dealing, they're just gonna bust down your door and make life miserable for you and not try to trick you with signatures.

i sign for packages and ALWAYS use board sponsors (maybe thats the "trick".

I'm rarely home with work and gym schedule (keeps me cooking at night - nice when weekend comes!!) and have to pick mine up from the post office where i sign and have to show ID.

Here in AMERICA you can sign for it and it's usually cool. Just remember to watch your ass.
