Sick and Tired of Magic Pills

I totally agree

People want the easy, quick short cut and don't want to work for anything. We take way too many pills, medications, etc. It's sad. I avoid taking pills, I'm not sure why, but always have. But that isn't always the best approach either.

I've had people ask me about supplements and I tell them they need to learn about diet, proper form, intensity before supplements will work. You can take all the supplements you want, but without the rest you are wasting your time and your money.

That's just my opinion.

Just look at all of the "quick fix" products in our society. You have ten minutes a day to ripped abs and all of the other idiotic diets/machines. It seems people don't want to work for anything. It takes discipline and committment to change ones lifestyle and body. I always recommend people keep food and exercise logs. You need them to determine what works for your body/metabolism. When dieting a food log is essential to controlling your diet but it takes a little effort. I always tell people to focus on diet, training, sleep and water. Sure, add a good multi vitamin or protein powder but get the basics in order before moving onto other supplements.
