Shoulder Injection

I had a little scare after my last shoulder injection. After i pulled out the pin(5/8- 23 gage) blood shot out. Scary shit, I grabbed a couple of tissues and covered the injection site. The blood stooped within a few seconds, then i waited for something to happen but nothing ever did (lucky me). Do you guys think all of the gear i injected came out with the blood? Has any else had this problem before?

You probably hit a vein on the way in and that's why the blood shot out. It happens from time to time...

Perhaps, but gear is meant to be injected intramuscular, not subcutaneous

You are aspirating aren't you? If you aspirated and saw no blood you pro'ly went right through a vein. You need to aspirate man. But no, I doubt it all shot out of your arm with the blood. It happens.

You did not lose anything to worry about,it happens but dont forget to aspirate.

use a 27g for your shoulder. 23g leaves too much scar tissue

your fine, might have lost a bit, don't worry your still huge...has anyone ever hit their sciatica nerve or grazed it?

It's a good point to use a higher gauge but 27? I've not tried it but I can't imagine any oil that would go through a 27 not even something thin like virormone. 25 yeah but not 27. Unless you're shooting something water-based.

Have you done this AAP?
