ok, i am definitely not the type of person to ever get law enforcement involved in anything...however, i think i may need to change that.

i was in a couple of towns over shopping for misc stuff. well, i decided to stop in a 'pet store' just for shits and giggles.

so, i go in this pet store, and i am telling you, it had to be a fly by night operation.

they had all sorts of puppies in plastic swimming pools surrounded by those fold out mesh cage things and even more puppies in these converted 2'x3' display cases with mesh floors so the shit and piss 'could' fall under them.

the place smelled so bad of shit and piss your eyes watered.

when i tried to hold some of the puppies, some of them would go bury their head in the corner of their display case because they were too scared of humans. the other ones just had this 'get me the hell out of here look'.

what made it even more sketch, they had cameras everywhere with their shitty display screen right at their front desk. and we're not talking about a big store by any means...probably a 20 x 20 room at most tops.

i really wanted to shoot these fucking people in the face who worked there.

i really can't see a pet store being legally allowed to operate in such a manner...honestly, it was that bad.

Pretty much all petstores are shady, homie. With very few exceptions they all buy their puppies from "puppy mills", which are disreputable breeders who pay no attention at all to breeding healthy, well adjusted animals, but just crank 'em out as quickly and as cheaply as possible.

Sounds like this joint just wasn't as prettied up as the mall shops that sell puppy mill animals.

My wife and I work extensively with animal rescue organizations. You would be shocked at the stuff we have seen.
