New member
on week three of my 1st cycle. running 500 mg test-e a week and started 250iu twice a week to keep my stuff in check. just took my first dose and it friggin burns. if thats normal, i'm not worried, but i thought it was sposed to be painless. i cut the 5000 vile w/ 3 ml injectable water and loaded up the insulin pins to the 15 mark for 250 per. been keepin em in the fridge. pulled out the 1st one, pinched up some stomache skin, shot it in and ouch!!!! again, not a big deal if thats normal, but i didnt think it would. anyone????

happens to me with both hcg and hmg

i feel the prick and the cold, but no burn.

did you use the water that came in the ampules with your hCG? i usually use a separate American brand bac water.. I don't trust that commie water..

No, it doesn't burn. My guess is you either had some alcohol on your skin from your wipe, or when you drew up your slin pinz you dulled them enough to hurt a tad.

My guess is pry the 2nd. What I do is poke the vial with a larger size pin when I first mix up the batch, and then everytime I draw out my HCG i go right through the same hole. Keeps the pin nice and sharp.

YES - it does. that is PERFECTLY NORMAL. there is nothing wrong with your hcg.
add in some injectable B-12 - you won't feel a thing.

I disagree. I never said there was anything wrong w/his HCG. I just don't think the HCG itself is what stings. I still say it is either a dull needle, or alcohol on the skin that hasn't dried.

okay, and its good to offer your opinion. but to answer his question - yes hcg does burn - it is not due to alcohol or a dull pin (which would not account for it burning while doing the actual injection, but rather may cause a little pain while putting the pin in as you break the skin.)

why does it not burn for some (as some have stated here). I cannot speak as to their individual cases.

but to answer the original question - Yes, HCG can and does burn while being injected. and this is normal.

to combat this burn - add some b-12.

b12....subq?

HCG does definately sting slightly.

I have experimented and found that if I inject too slow it tends to sting more.

Inject too quickly and it leaves a bubble under the skin which I just massage for 30 secs until it goes.

If I inject not too fast and not too slow I can almost do it sting free. At least you know your gear is legit :chomp:
