All I have is the 'New Living Translation' that this Christian guy gave me at work one day. This is the only bible I have ever read.
Should I get another, or is it the same words, translated so it makes sense to me??? I didn't go to church as a kid or anything...
I just read various subject to better myself.

Do I need a different bible?
