Shirts fit in shoulders but huge in the torso

Some companies offer "fitted" shirts, and these are basically a normal shirt that has the middle taken in. I have a few, but the tailored shirts are always the best fit.
a.k.a. "Modern Fit" or "Fitted" yep. But even those I just bought some and I still might have to have them take in the mid section.

does the tailor ever just fug up the shirt and make it look bad? I guess I need a recommendation from someone on a tailor. I didn't know it was only $12 I'm all over that.

as previously stated. I will reinforce the Tailor recomendation! You will never go back to being "satisfied" with off the rack clothing again once you find a quality tailor. I go to mine as soon as I get a new jacket, ect. Haven't gone to get shirts done, mainly because my suit jacket stayes on... but that's getting old, time to suck it up and tailor the shirts so I don't have a clump of cloth in the back anymore when tucked in.

All my shirts, whether Polo's or long sleeve button downs have to get tailored. My polos I need XXL to fit my arms but I have a 33 inch waist.. Dress shirts I wear 18 36/37. Just buy the shirts you like and spend the 8-12 bucks to have the sides taken in. I have used every tailor from Men's Warehouse to my dad's guido guy. To be honest, if its something as trivial as taking in the sides of a shirt, just save some money and go with whatever is convenient. Suits, go with custom.. You'll save $$$ in the long run.

XXL modern fit..for shirts here....I usually buy 2 piece suits like Perry Ellis makes You can buy a 50 jacket with 34 suit pants ext...

Haha, Same here man. I wear medium t-shirts and wow it fits perfect on the chest/shoulders/arm and then it goes down and its wide as shit on the torso. not as bad as a large

I bought a medium athletic fit button up shirt the other day its pretty nice snug fit all the way down. Its just a little too long for my height.

Lets take this somewhere a bit different. Okay Friday comes and the dress shirt gets thrown on the floor until Monday. What the hell do you guys wear that fits out for the weekends? I cant fit into an XXL at Guess, Diesel, Lucky, Abercrombie or wherever else they make nice going out shirts....suggestions?

Good luck.

The only way I can relate is to some designer jeans made for skinny ass models with no thighs or glutes.... I gotta buy 36's and tailor them down to 30-32's.
