I wouldn't. Most woman and men will think you are just trying to show it off and look the other way. This is what you DON'T want. They will think that you are full of yourself.

What are the chances a woman is going to dance with you when you have your shirt off!?! I say slim to none! Woman will feel uncomfortable dancing with half naked guy they don't know. Also even if the woman chooses to dance, shes still gonna feel uncomfortable knowing all eyes are on her thinking she is a slut for dancing with a shirtless guy.

I've seen it all the time in clubs were guys take their shirts off, but I never see them leaving with nobody, and they have good bodies!!!

My advice is to wear a white tank top or LS/SS sexy shirt thats worth money. Yes, buy an expensive shirt because that is the second thing woman see besides your face!!!

Here in hollywood -- it's the exact opposite. Strict dress codes at the velvet rope clubs. Guy has too much flesh -- goes home. You have to look like a rico suave gino to get in.
 
We tak'em off in DC clubs. Its a great excuse for for a little cutie to come rub up on me. But for the record only the 5am clubs, take your shirt off at club /bar that shuts down at 2am and you'll find yourself leaving that club/bar by either your head or your feet first. There's a time and a place for everything!

But i am from NJ(but have partied all over) and i party all the time in NYC, and it is one of the craziest scenes in the world...definitely an experience.

I've taken my shirt off a few times at a club but had a tank top underneath!! I"ll admit that it gets hot as hell from all the people and dancing.. If the DJ is spinning some hard house then theres no way you stop dancing until its time to leave!!!
 
Here in Miami is very very rare to let you take your shit off, usually they make you keep your shirt on and if your wearing a tank top under your shirt and you take off your shirt they make you put it on. Thats usually in every club in Miami
 
I just laugh at dudes with their shirts off, looks like you have no class......thats my opinion, to each their own. I'd rather throw on some nice threads and impress that way.

It really depends on what type of club your at, it is normal for guys to go shirtless at rave clubs anywhere else I would have to say no

I don't mind it as long as the guy has a nice body and doesn’t get overly sweaty. Shirtless, sweaty men in a crowded club are gross when there are only a few inches of space between you and the next person.

I have bounced at a bunch of clubs in NH. In order to serve alcohol they have to serve food. That means shirts and shoes. People still took them off.
Ask them once to put it on... if they did great. Ask them again... if they didn't they got the living shit beaten out of them!
*I bet they didn't look at bad or cool as they thought while they were getting their ass kicked, then thrown out!

the only club where i've ever seen shirtless doods was a gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) club and the only reason I was in there because some stripper girlfriends of mine.....oh wait a minute.........dancer girlfriends of mine dragged me in there to get their hookup. Why is it that gay clubs are all drug dens? Wasn't a bad place but going to the bathroom was weird.

If you really want "all that hard work appreiciated" hang at gay bars. dont' go much, but when i get to dancing (when i'm drunk) i get hot, and could care less who cares if my shirt comes off, it's coming off without me even thinking about it. if it's to stroll around, keep it on, but if you're sweating up a storm, take it off, keep the shirt decent to put back on later...
 
Fuck that shit. Taking your shirt off at a club even if your built like Pudzianowski is still tacky and cheesy as hell. If your at an out door party like WMC or someplace else, then ok, but the "Vinny's" and "Tony's" that remove their skin tight Armani Exchange baby-t the SECOND they walk through the velvet rope are a bit out of hand.

Then again, its all about the venue, and the crowd. Down in the Jersey shore, if you dont take your shirt off while dancing you must be a "tool" according to them. So what you will see is before the DJ even places a record down the "Carmine's" will douse themselfs with water to look like they are sweating so they have an exscuse to take the shirt off.

If these types walked into a classy manhattan venue such as Lotus, or Bungalow 8, they would get dwarf tossed out the front doors by their 35 dollar silver chain.
 
Guys aren't allowed to take off their shirts in the clubs up here. I guess if it is a beach club and everyone else is doing it, go ahead if you have the confidence. Up here it would look silly, because no one else does it.

when the techno scene was in full effect, low, mid to late 90s to 2001...it was a totally different scene...Shirtless in alot clubs was no problem...

2003 onward..You don't really see it at all...And you don't really want to...

It was suggested that all that could be said had been said but not so. The inference in many posts is that only lone guys do this and that the debate is whether the other clubbers approve. But what about mixed groups out clubbing? I've done it a few times selfishly because it made me feel good (and to feel good was why I went). And on one occassion dancing shirtless at the foot of a spare podium a female member of the club staff encouraged me to use the spare podium - it seemed rude to say no...!
 
Depends how hot the room gets and how much space there is to dance. If it is red hot inside I may take off my shirt. Out of respect I really try not to as I don't want to sweat on other people. Heheh.. :)
 
IMO, shirts should stay on, unless it's an outside Tiki/beach bar. There are certain "Guiedo Clubs" in the summer where its full of toppless guys. Now, the eye candy is nice, but its gets so over crowded. And when they walk past, and/or try to dance w/ me they get their sweat all over my cute lil outfit! :rolleyes:
 
I use my shirt open sometimes at titty bars. At regular clubs, never.

Mad Max, what club(s) do you go to? I go to NYC once in awhile, take the rail in from NJ. I go to SPLASH, which I'm sure you don't go to. :rainbow: But, alot of straight men and women go there now plus gay clubs have the best dance music. I have a buddy that may come visit and need to find a good club to take him to, there's no way he'd go to a gay club with me.

Club Space in Miami, on the patio. Round 3-4:30am when all the the gay guys leave, and the strippers, Booger sugar heads, and people rolling balls come out.. Gets pretty crazy in there. never take my shirt off, chill with the wife beater, but there are dudes in there with their shirts off. Most of the time they look decent, normal people would be impressed with em but anyone on this site would be like whatever. I don't hate, just try and stay away from them. Nothing worse than trying to move past someone only to get their armit rub on you or their sweat all over.
 
I never did inside a club, but nothing wrong with it if you want to. I usually take mine off anywhere it's normal to go shirtless, unless I'm in a place full of younger guys in better shape. Then it stays on.

Yeah Im not from Appalachia, but Im a Southern boy too an you dont do that shit around here... its cool if your in Jamaica at a resort or at the lake or something, maybe even at the bar, but not in a club. We wear shirts unless there is a legitimate excuse to take it off! BUT, you also WILL NOT see some guy with a blowout haircut or a skin tight Armani Exchange shirt either - its not that those styles havent made it to this part of the country, they just look super gay so we havent adopted them. To put it in perspective for you guys on the East Coast, Id liken it to the European fashion of men wearing capri's... I it just has not and will not catch on here. Theme parties and holidays (like Halloween) not included (the no-shirt that is, you dont wear capri's period, even as part of a costume!). Maybe if your sweatin your ass off and go outside like if there is a porch or outside part of the club, then your maybe good for 3-5 minutes of shirt removal time MAX! In tropical climates I could see it being appropriate maybe... Miami?

Depends on the club. I did it on halloween and a few paint party themed clubs and had girls all over me. Its an amaZing feeling... If i were to do it on a reg night, id probably get kicked out lol. So i wouldnt risk.
