You don’t think I've ever been lied to? I've been lied to a million times. I met two guys on line that looked NOTHING like their pics. I walked away saying they were lying dirt bags, I didn’t put them down b/c of their looks.
Call her for what she is a lair, why bring her looks and weight into it?

Let's call a spade a spade. Whether one is male/female NO ONE likes to be lied to about something as blatant as external appearance. I mean, WTF do these people think? That you will suddenly not care what they look like once they have so obviously decieved you?

It happened to me on more than one occasion. You have all seen my lawngnome. I love him more than words could ever say. He ain't exactly Arnold or Mel Gibson, but he looks devastatingly beautiful to me... His charisma, his rapier wit and his gentle way with me are just a few of the reasons why I love him so deeply. However, if he had displayed an image of Arnold or Mel Gibson and *he* showed up at the airport I would have been pretty pissed. Not because he isn't handsome enough for me, but for the simple fact he lied.

Women, I believe, are more guilty of this as men put a higher paramount on physical beauty. But who are they kidding?

I always tell women that if a man is either too blind or too stupid to see what is beautiful about her, then why on earth would she waste her precious time engaging him?

I agree and Arabian has every right to be pissed, but why all the name calling? So her being overweight and not attractive plays a part in her being a liar?

I suppose that the reason the other board members are REALLY going at it with this woman is because she didn't shave off a year or two or maybe a dress size or two but she made such gross misstatements that she opened herself up to ridicule of the nth degree.

Sorta like one time when a dood flew me to Boston for the weekend. OMG when I got off of the plane, had we not had our cellulars we NEVER would have found each other. I still remember literally standing in front of him and I saw this man's mouth moving making the words that were coming into my ear from my phone but my eyes were in total disbelief. The man standing before me was at least 10 years older, 50 pounds heavier and near a full head of hair ago!

He messed it up for himself from the getco because even though I did enjoy his company (translation: I liked him as a person. He did stimulate my mind.) I just could not get over how blatantly he lied and how great a lie. I kept wondering what else he was lying about.

Needless to say he changed my ticket and had a car take me to the airport THE NEXT MORNING to catch the first flight back. Good Lord, every moment after the initial meeting was like pulling teeth. I was THAT disappointed.

yes, that is the big problem with it. You get to really enjoying someone on and you like the pictures that they sent, etc. Then you meet and they have lied so much that you just can't trust them. Your bubble is burst and you wasted all this time and thought on them. It is mean.

I am all about respecting my most precious commodity: TIME.

I could never understand why a woman would lie about something as silly as her appearance in real time. That is why if I had any modeling pics I would also have no makeup, crappy webcam pics - always taken w/in the last 6 months. I don't like my time wasted. If I am not a man's cup of tea, my feelings are not hurt over it. LOL There were 10 others in line behind that one yelping, "Pick me... pick me." (Not saying that they were all quality either. Heck, I had to kiss an awfull lot of frogs before I found my lawngnome.)

As for men. They can't help it. ALL MEN LIE. Once women accept this, the happier they will be.

I can't imagine being away from home meeting some dude who lied, but the ones I did meet locally, well when I found out they lied, I was so turned off.
They were cool on line but anyone who lies from the get go is not real and not real ppl.....well read my location quote!

I think the other reason members are going after this woman is because they are infantile and insecure (not ref to you HR)
