the blacjk culture hasnt exactly helped itself asit idolises some of the more stupid rap start etc, yet a lot of them dont do all that much to help the communities they once came from (they dealt drugs previously so its not exactly as if they had a huge concience).....maybe if blacks hadnt been suprressed or on-screen roles for so long this would have happened.

why black people feel the need to shout out black power is beyond me (i.e. ive never heard that other than on TV)....over here it just doesnt happen

My pic is in the "Pictures of women" discussion board; however I am a woman of color hince the name "BronzedGoddess" so it's quite possible you would not appreciate my beauty (if you are a racist pig like some of the people that have posted on this thread), but if you are opened minded go check it out.

As for the rest of you......until you meet every black person in the U.S don't go generalizing! I cant say most white people are racist because I have not met most of the white people on this earth. Good people come in every color and so do bad. You don't have to black to be racist or ignorant; most of you all have proven that on this thread! You will never know what it's like to be a black male or female for that matter so don't tell me how "it is" or how "we" are, because you don't know. Just like I'll never know what it's like to be a white male. The saddest part is, my son is both black and white and it scares me that one day when he's older, he won't be white enough for the white kids or black enough for the black kids.................what then?

i like to watch movies at a theater thats about 99% black. they make racist comments all the time. they are more racist than whites in general. howard stern went to a high school with mostly blacks and got his ass kicked on a regular basis. if there are a few blacks in a mostly white high school the black kids get treated better than most.

My high school was 99% black and hispanic and when a new white kid would check in we never bullied him. Hell, we were more interested because they were not like us, something different. BUT! My husband went to an all white school in Ohio (he is also white) and when a black family moved into the town people spray painted "LEAVE NIGGERS" on their home. So once again don't generalize. And howard stern is just annoying; he would have gotten his assed kicked at an all white school too!

i'm saddened to hear that people these days are still as stupid as they are. we as humans are supposed to gain knowledge with time. not revert back to our primitive ways. you guys whether you are white or black or green or purple, you need to learn to accept yourself on who you are and continue to seek personal growth instead of covering your failures or insecurities with hatred toward other people.

BG, you are right, i know i sure would have kicked howard stern's ass if he went to my school. by the way, what the hell part of ohio did your husband go to high school?!?!? i've never heard of that around here!
