hey there dumbasses. all this talk about blacks favoring racial profiling against arabs and no one mentioned what the white folks say. most white people i know would probably be in favor of profiling ALL races. which is wrong of course. everyone in this country is scared right now because of the events that happened on september 11th. that triggered a lot of suspicion about who could be capable or ready to commit the next terrorist act. so it's expected for people to set aside a few of their moral beliefs at a time like this.

IMOSHO, a big part of the problem we are encountering is the redefinition of terms which we allowed, unchallenged, to take place due to Political Correctness.
There used to be a great word which described an admirable quality in a person; discriminating.
You see, someone who was discriminating did not simply accept whatever was handed them. To discriminate meant to use judgment and taste to discern things that were useful from the 90% of garbage that is foisted on one in life.
But we have allowed Liberal mass culture to re-define discriminating as a bad thing.
You see, we all discriminate (in the old sense of the word). When I go near a stove, I am wary because I have been burned. Most often, the burnbers are not hot, but it still helps me to remember the times I have been burned.
You see, this is a natural human survival instinct. We MUST make generalisations in order to survive.
Our ancestors learned that most often, green fruits were best left alone until they ripened, while green meats were best left uneaten.
There are times when these rules are problems, such as in teh case of fruits which are green when ripe, but the generalisation has allowed us to survive for millions of years.

And so it is with people. I have been the victim of violent crime perpetrated against me by black people, more than once. In addition, my friends were also subject to this treatment. But my blood brother in High School was black, and his family treated me as though he and I were actually brothers.
Did my friend's family alter my behaviour? Certainly. But it was still wise for me to avoid walking through his neighborhood alone, and his family realised this. Was I prejudiced? Or perhaps discriminating?

Last year, as I decided to take a walk here in Seattle, I opted to leave my firearms at home, as I was just going to take a walk around teh block and have a smoke. As I was walking, a group of black teens dressed in fashionable style (drooping pants and black down jackets, etc.) walked towards me. My Bronx-born instincts told me to cross the street to avoid a potential problem, but my residual Liberal urges told me that it would be 'racist' of me to do so. As they reachedme, they began asking me for money. They followed me for over a block, harassing me the whole way.

Now I listen to my instincts, regardless of color or race or ethnicity. I am trying to be more 'discriminating.'

I once lived in New York City as well, and some people on this board haven't had the privilege we've had of living in a land of intelligence and diversity, liKe NYC.

Ryan, maybe you should think about what you're saying here, because it's a very good point for reasons that you can't fathom.

Maybe it is a privilege to live in NY, a place that celebrates DIVERSITY. Have you ever thought about those of us out there who are subject to TOO MUCH diversity? You probably never attended a high school that was 75% black as a white kid.

I was one of 200 white kids in school of 1700 people in Georgia. You wouldn't know what it was like to walk into a cafeteria full of 1400 black people and try to wait in the lunch line or eat your lunch in peace. This is where alot of the negative opinions I have about black people come from.

By your definition, my school was very "diverse," because you think "diverse" means having alot of minorities. Well my high-school was what I like to call "reverse-diverse," all blacks, and a few whites and asians.

You think you're all enlightened because you live in New York and you go to a Broadway show and there's 30 black people in there. You're so privileged because it's "diverse" in New York? Bullshit! You still feel comfortable because no matter where you go you're still in the majority and the ruling class.

If you went to a high-school basketball game in the Bronx and you were the only "white boy" in there, you wouldn't be so proud of New York's celebrated "diversity." And you're wrong if you think every black kid in there wouldn't be calling you "white boy."

You're in college, and I know where you're coming from. When I was in college, I thought I was so above everything and that my shit didn't stink too. You'll learn about life when you grow up, if you ever do.

Please take this for what it's worth coming from a poor white cracker who comes from a place where the people are'nt as enlightened and highly-evolved as they are in NY.

Deliqunet I actually agree with most of your entire post. Most of the white guys on here with the exception of a few Natymike, Glp, Wodin, Weapon, Chesty and the such that arn't afraid 2 speak their actual beliefs, the rest are a bunch of panty wasted fucking pussys. I know this will probally be edited because nobody is actually allowed 2 say what they think unless its in agreement with the moderators views of the "perfect world".
