sex drive?????

triplesixmaf

New member
ive just started my 4th cycle and my sex drive on my last cycles was extremely high on test, this time around my sex drive was up for about a week and now it seems to be stale, heres what im on
1g test ethenate a week
45 mlgs d bol a day
600 ml eq a week
nolva
any ideas??????

This happens to me also. my drive is really high then around week 6 or so it tapers down. I don't think you are doing too much test. Maybe try adding Avena. HCG would be good also.
My last shot was 4 weeks ago. I'm taking mega doses ofr Avena and clomid. My sex drive it way up which is weird since I should be crashed by now. Also I usually drop weight real bad, I'm holding steady.

Now that your done talking to yourself, heh, heh.
I have noticed the sex drive fluctuation over the years, sometimes I have to grab a buggy on the way into the store to hide the boner I got from looking at a chick, othertimes I could care less.
Bottom line, AS is about growing muscle not being a walking dick.
And I always grew sex drive or not.

it could be based on more factors than just the testosterone, especially if your intake this time is similar to your last cycle. here are some possible things to keep in mind:
  1. duratoin between cycles - if you have been on multiple cycles, testosterone regulation is likely to be abnormal, even if your baseline serum measurements appear to be the same as before you began cycling (you did get baseline bloodworks, right?). nevertheless, this means that for every cycle you use it, you should take longer times off after every cycle in order to allow your body more time to recover from it (example, 12 weeks on, 12 weeks off, 12 weeks on, 16 weeks off, 12 weeks on, 24 weeks off). as in anything, your off time will be highly dependent on how well your body recovers, but more recovery is always better, even if you are mr. "super testosterone recovery man"
  2. sex drive is a fickle indicator of testosterone production - weak sex drive can be caused by dozens of things not even remotely related to testosterone, which is why when drugs are prescribed for impotence, testosterone is infrequently used (because it is not nearly as effective in improving sex drive). what im trying to say it could be just a low sex-drive week for you (i know about those, and i've probably the highest sex drive of anyone you may ever know), it could be lots of work. it could be an illness your body is fighting off. it could be the sugar roller coaster. it could be a change in climate. it could be your concerns about the war (work, girlfriend, parents, etc). basically, don't convince yourself that a weak sex drive is directly correlative to your androgen intake... while it could be, it is possible that your androgens are only 10% responsible for it
  3. consider your other 3 variables - food, food is funny while on bulking because when you eat more, your body becomes less efficient at metabolizing it, and sometimes, you will actually get a weaker sex-drive from it. the worst culprits are nutritionally empty foods (pizza, burgers, pies) because your body works it ass off only to extract some measly sugars from food full of garbage (at least as far as your intestines are concerned). don't dismiss this possibility till you switch over to the least digestively taxing foods, such as a liquid diet (sounds silly, but i've had clients try it and it really makes the difference). second, overtraining - yes, even on elevated exogenous androgens you can overtrain. the biggest problem while on androgens is you can't tell how badly overtrained you are because many times they will "mask" the problem... the only way to find out is by taking at least 10 days off.... i know that to those in a growth phase, taking 10 days off may seem like heresy, but sometimes you have to take one step back in order to take a few more steps forward... sometimes if you don't, you'll never move ahead.....third, sleep - i can't even begin to tell you how many people suffer from health problems (of which sexual dysfuntion is one) which are affected in large part from lack of sleep or irregular sleep patterns (which is just as bad). your body's circadean rhythms are there for a reason, because it is good for your body to sleep. i could describe the multiple processes which recover when you sleep plenty, but i might be writing for the next few days, so ill just say this: sleep a minimum of 8-9 hours of sleep, absolutely nothing less, and if you can, try for 10-12 hours every once in a while... if that doesn't cure your boner troubles, maybe nothing will.....

AGREED...But sex drive is important especially to your lady...It is quite common for this to happen...My sex drive fluctuates while "on"...I believe it has something to do with your "free" and "bound" test levels...Also to a more important degree, estrogen levels rising during a cycle...Which will scew your sex drive up also

  1. ......................

All true. But don't discount the nolva. It can be a dick killer in some people.

Personally, I'll never understand how more muscle can be considered more important than a working dick. What good is looking great? To impress the guys at the squat rack?

Muscles without a dick are as useless as Playboy centerfold without a vagina.

I dunno what were your other cycles? What are your stats?

IMO that is alot of test for a 4th cycle I mean alot of these super experienced guys run that much.
