I got stuck with a severe cold the past 2 days, I was at a party in the woods this weekend, and was so gone that I dont think I realized how cold it was outside.

I been popping Dayquil ,Nyquil, along with some european med's that are similar but MUCH stronger.

LOL, I was just lookin at the meds from europe and its actualy made by Galenika Pentrexyl (ampicillinum) 500mg 1 cap.

I dont know if your serious about the sauna, I would stay away, it will dehydrate you and in the end youll only feel worse.

Sauna and jaccuzzy sounded like a good idea, guess not?

Whenever I am sick (flu or cold or sinus infections due to my allergies) I ALWAYS go sit in a steam room or sauna for as long as I can stand it for 3-4 days straight. It always makes me feel better and helps clear out my respitory system. I just make sure and drink a ton of water and some gatorade which you should do anyways if sick. Drinks lots of fluids and I say go for it.

take yoursel a hot shower or bath. always makes me feel better.

I take cold medicine and add some ephedra with it. It helps a lot. I also drink green tea too. The sauna can work. Stay in it until you have soaked the bench with your sweat. As mentioned... stay hydrated!

funny story once when on vacation in San Diego I got a nasty sinus infection. SO I go to the hotels steam room to hopefuully get some of that crap to drain out so I can at least breath and have some fun on my trip. I sat there for about 20-30 minutes hacking up lung butter and shooting snot out my nose onto the drain, and I was really snorting and hacking away in there. Kinda gross I know but I was going to rinse it down after I left, I was pretty miserable and I was alone in there anyways........or so I thought. After about 20 minutes, this guy appears out of the far corner of the steam room, parts the fog and walks out and throws me the dirtiest look I might of ever gotten. Man I choked on a loogee I was laughing so hard. They really need to turn the steam down in there so you can see you know?

ROLF!!!! :FRlol: :FRlol:

keep the fluids replenished especially if your sweating a lot
if you cramp a lot then it could be due to the fact that you are dehydrating yourself

water, water and then some more water

good luck man

When ever I get a cold I pop 1000mg vit. C throughout the day! It always cuts a day or two off my down time. GL

Like all hte good bors said...the Sauna will work...make sure you do stay hydrated...and the sauna will clear up all the congestion

It's reckoned that if you treat a cold you can get rid of it in about a week. If you leave it alone it'll be gone in around seven days.

All you can do is treat the symptoms and try to avoid dehydration.

it all depends if you are all congested in the lungs or nose area i say do it so it will loosen you up...a doc told me when my son was really sick to take him into the bathroom and close the door.turn the shower on hot and to let the steam build up so i dont see why a sauna wouldnt help just drink plenty of water

the sauna may make you temporarily feel better, but will do little to shorten the length of your cold. That temp will not have much effect on a virus. Pop few pills, get some rest, and drink your fluids. Your body will do the rest.

Rest well. Eat right. Take plenty of fluids. Take some multivitamins.
'Cold' is not caused by cold weather. Just that when it is cold outside, your mucous membranes are damaged by cold and become vulnerable to viral infection.
Cold is caused by virus. Boosting your immune system is only thing that is going to help a little.
Don't take any nutritional supplement to enhance immune system. You will have no improvement.
