Serious question for the ladies.

What the hell do y'all mean when you tell a guy he's your favorite? I get women especially ones I work with telling me "You're my favorite!" all the time. Just curious as to what that means since I'm typically not the nicest person in the world.

translation "Buy me shit"

She wants to "hang out" and be "best friends" and tell you how "amazing" you are all the time.. but nothing else.. I used to get this all the time.. :/

yeah. RW is right. it's friend zone most all the time. even though you might not be "the nice guy", maybe they see you as that.

Depends on how it's said. If it's said with a genuine smile and especially if it includes some sort of physical contact (i.e., a pat on the arm, a hug) it means they a) appreciate you/what you're doing or b) are buttering you up in case you can do something for them in the future.

If it's said in kind of a flat monotone, without a smile or with a fake smile, especially without any touches, then it could be veiled sarcasm (you did say you aren't a very nice person).

Chicks are weird.

It has happened a lot over the years. The one yesterday went like this. A girl from another departement called looking for one of my coworkers. He had already gone home for the day so I told her that her response was "Is this Scots?" me"yep" her"oh good you're my favorite!". When I was a bouncer all the weitresses would tell me that all the time, now of course in that situation I did treat most of them like a little sister. But now it's people I really don't have much contact with.

And yes chicks are really weird, I'm glad I am done in the dating world.
