semi casual

since people are asking fashion advice i'd love some opinions on what to wear tonight. dress code is semi casual. i'm a jeans and tee kinda girl. so i was thinking jeans, some heals or wedges, tight low-cut tee, and dangling earrings or hoops(not big on necklaces)

what do you think, is that semi casual?

Exactly, jean with a dressy shirt or slacks with ay shirt (no tube tops ) otherwise it´s too casual, you can also go for skirts of boots....

Oh Christ I hate all the dam terms with casual in it. I had a work function that was smart casual. I asked my boss what the hell is that she was like don't wear a suit but no jeans either. Ok I show up and people were in bloody jeans. I was in a dress would have rather been in jeans bastards.

lol, i know huh? well i wore a my high-waisted black skit, comes just above the knee with little slit in the back. paired with a silk blouse and tucked in. heels and earrings. well at least i didn't look out of place, so i guess that was semi casual.

I always err on the side of being a bit over-dressed as opposed to under.

There are ways to dress up denim but I ALWAYS ALWAYS wear trousers or a dress/skirt if it is any sort of professional/acquaintances type function.

Unless it is a rally. I don't do the pasties thing, but I do do the teeny weeny boyshorts with leathers thing. I would do the thong thing but that is just unsanitary. No way I would set down in strange places with nuthin but a square inch of fabric between my hoohah and every filthy, disgusting germ/bacteria/virus/dirt known to mankind.
