I saw those guys years ago.

Thanks for reminding me of how old I'm getting, damnit.
I haven't seen them in a while myself, but loved them in high school

Me too. They put on a great show when I saw them. It was at City Gardens in Trenton.

Yep. Old. Damn.

She came slidin' down the alleyway like butter drippin' off a hot biscuit.

One of the bestest lines ever!

my buddy just saw them last week and said it was an awesome show.

are you really related?
yes, goes back 5 generations, but still related, we share the same coat of arms and the family all came over here (from england) at the same time. he's the most famous person you can find in my family tree (he's on my mom's side).

why's it lame? I didn't claim anything special because of it, I don't even know the guy, we just share some of the same blood/dna./

you should play bass. maybe some of the Claypool talent is in your bones.

I've played a little bass, more guitar, and I don't seem to have a natural knack for either :(

you live in SD dude?

my buddies are going to that show tonight.
yeah bro! I live in Mission Beach.

plz keep in chat at least until tomorrow, then archive in the music forum.

I'm talking about my weekend plans here, not so much about the band or music.

My freshman college roomie got me interested in Primus. I had never heard of them before. They are very unique and the bass awesome.

jerry was a racecar driver... and winona's big brown beaver???? that primus?

yeah, i dont think there is a better bassist than claypool. he plays a 6 string, fretless bass like he was born with it.

that is extremely hard to do.

The most impressive part is that he plays off tempo from the bass drum which is very nontraditional AND does vocals on top of that. I've tried it and holy shit do you need to be gifted for that talent.
