Thats cool, well I only recently started dating her, and she works in my department and I really dig her, so I'm not sure I have the balls to tell her to take it or leave it... this is tough, cause I dig Nelson's wise advice... but there is so much shit I would have to explain, like how the media due to consumeristic forces sensationalizes and mythologizes responsible gear use... Thats alot of shit to cut through... she's smart and a free thinker... so I've got that going for me...

Why tell her something that she probably doesn't want to know? Most women want denyability in these cases. Even if she suspects you are "on" you don't want to give her any reason to be able to deny it to herself or to her friends/colleagues.
