Sea Scallops

Rinse in cold water
Drain but leave damp.
Add fresh chopped chives and scallion - not too much just a bit for flavor
Sprinkle with lemon
Fresh finely chopped ginger
kosher salt and fresh black pepper
drizzle a bit of your favorite oil
mix together lightly

Put into a heated wok or deap frying pan over medium heat.

Shake or mix gingerly ever 2 minutes or so after 5 minutes cover, shut off heat and let steam.

Check often - don't over cook or they'll be rubber.

You can eat with steamed veggies, rice, mei fun noodles, pasta or plain.

The scallops will make this delicious sweet gingery milky broth.

Probably makes the house smell like fish but it sounds very good...Another inside velvett exclusive... :artist:
 
velvett, funny you should post this because i cooked scallops for dinner tonight. i bought them at costco, in the frozen foods section. (they have a terrific selection of frozen fish). i sprayed them with cooking oil, put on seasoning salt and pepper, and broiled for five minutes. they were delicious. they sure do shrink when you cook them though. :)
