i rotate inj sites because of frequent inj,i do r shoulder,r thigh,l shoulder,l thigh.yesterday i was doing a thigh shot and when i was penetrating there was a sharp pain and i withdrew,when i did blood starts streaming down my leg.now i have a bruise about 3'' in dia.i used propper tecnique,with hand down by my sides i inject about where my hand would be on my thigh.is there an exact place you should inject to keep away from blood vessles?

there is no "exact" place, though generally closer to the periphery (outer) of the muscle is less likely to have a direct hit. though if you inject in a "pocket" (soft (relatively)spots in the quad, even when flexed) chances are much less.

note even without a "direct hit" you can still have blood spurts from a nicked vesel, due to pooling and pressure from oil volume.
