Saturday....

Went shopping this morning with S O and got a new laptop to replace the one that got stolen this week... that didn't help finances, got a 14 inch mac, and happy with it... had lunch at chessecake factory, so crowded today, the couple in the next booth were calling it quits it appears, and reluctantly eavesdropped to hear dude try subtly prolong relationship, but she wasn't having it... feel bad for eaves dropping, but not that bad... and now just chilling waiting for Margarito Cotto fight... pretty uneventful with nothing to do but chill... good tymes... anyone do anything interesting last night or saturday...

It was fudge marble with choclate frosting. And the milk was ice cold almost had ice crystals in it ? Fuck i think it made me hard lol

V I'm an X files junkie, but I'll take your word for it, I always dug on how tight they were, I mean usually friendships don't make it to that depth because somebody fucks it up... but will take your word on that...

Justa dude that married their daughter. I think they're better than most in-laws tho. They're tolerable. Her bro's a firefighter that lives close by. He's a great guy to chill with. Dude's a beast....

I can vouch for that! I'd rather get a root canal than ask my parents for money.

Okay I shouldn't be saying this but since I'm going to med school now, parents are willing to fork it over... but I don't ask for much... just new laptops and shit like that... J/K big time...

My dad is cool about school. I never actually need to ask. I just say I wanna go to school and he says he will pay for it. The bad part is when I actually give him the bill and see how much its gonna cost. I always feel like shit. He can afford it...but I still feel like shit because school costs so much! Its INSANE! My dad is 66 years old. I feel guilty for accepting his' funds because he works really hard for his money. He just says I am being silly and he is proud to pay. I heart my daddy.

i can relate to all of that.

my dad has money but always puts me through the ringer when he has to pay for something for me. he'll always come through but not without a long winded speech or beratement

LOL, asians and indians.......

My family is mostly farmers.... I ask for money to help with bills in that 3 weeks between your fall check and spring check, and then try to pay it back.

Thats the funny thing about my dad. Major penny pincher. Usually wouldn't buy me a pack of gum, lol. He would tell me to buy my own shit. He's funny. School is the only time he says he will be more than happy to pay....no matter the cost.

As a parent, I'm sure you can relate to him now and know that we do whatever we can to support our children.

It's all good bro...

It could've been worse...

Here's a little piece of wisdom for you:

I went to watch the new batman movie with my wife on Friday and we went this odd guy wearing weird clothes like he's from the sixties and covering his face with a big hat.

I was complaining about sitting in the 5th row of the movie theatre because all the other rows were booked. He looked at me and said in a deep voice: It could be worse. You could be sitting in the first row, having to look up at the screen for 2 hrs and 36 minutes, get a stiff neck and spend a horrible weekend. You should feel blessed being in the 5th row. You gotta take the bad in with the good and look for the good in the bad.

Weird dude. Wise words. End result is the same. Always think positive. Things happen for a reason.

So true. Over the last 7 months, I have realized so many things about my parents. I have learned more in 7 months about love and family than I had learned all of my years prior to being a mom. I can't even explain it. I prolly don't need to explain it because you are a mom,2.

lol...you're missing the point of the story :P

Whether or not I gave him permanent injury is not relevant to the point I'm trying to make lol

I just got back and I get the point of the story...
Magical saturday, that is all I'm saying, well not really,
SO has me miss fight, and thats okay
My boy loses fight, I'm peeved,
Got a huge donation of K from a veteran here whose act of good will and generosity humble me with gratitude and embarrassment about being petty.
So yes I get the point, and things were never really bad, but I'm a pansy and like to complain, but there was an abundance of good...

All I'm sayin is that being the recipient of so much generosity, humbles me.
The act of good will by some people here is just plain awesome...
Feel good now and can't sleep...
