Saturday Check-in......

I am enduring a large hangover from a late night last night. I'm outta here in a bit.

Well, the counters & backsplash are white ceramic tiles.....and on the backsplash I had 2 decorative rows of cobalt blue - which after 10 years, I got sick of....And the kitchen was painted yellow....cabinets are maple with a natural glaze.....

SO - we tore out the blue tiles & replaced them with white and dug out the chipped tiles on the counter and regrouted.....So everything is white now.....cabinets stayed the same....repainted the kitchen - like a light beige/yellow base color - called "Sugared Almond."

Added in a mini-fridge in stainless, new 'wave in stainless, new dishwasher in stainless. Will be replacing the sink/faucet in stainless also & the stove will be next even tho it's new. Oh & I'll be adding 2 extra cabinets in to extend the one side, which will enclose the mini fridge......

Also working on repainting the LR & DR cuz I've got new furniture coming in....

And we've got to figure out how to add lighting....lil tricky....

awesome!!!!!! I am building my house so it is a work in progress. Your kitchen sounds nice, I like stainless (who doesnt).

i am going black granite with bronze flake. Maple cabinets with raised panel. Maple hardwood floor with island. Appliances are going to be wolf oven and cooktop on island with hood. Drop lighting over half bar. Sub zero fridge and a dishwasher that matches. The kitchen is a EXPENSIVE area of the house but i cook ALOT so it will be worth it.

Only thing left is the color. it will be worth all the work when u r done!

I'd like to replace the counters, but it was cheaper & easier to just replace the damaged tiles & redo the decorative tile part. I added some coffee-themed art to 1 wall also, which looks cool....I'll have to post pics...

I sooo know what your talkin about! I live on the first floor of my building but the garage is under the place so I still have to go up a couple half flights of stairs. I feel like such a total GIMP trying to get up and down! lol!
 
I came home thismorning, ate some oats, drank some beans, slept a smidgen, went ona bike ride through the woods,a nd am now here waiting for dinner to be ready.

they didnt even make designed plays for them

it was a joke it was just to showcase the players and see how they play together

Saints saying they beat the champs BULL SHIT, they were blitzing like mad from weak side, who does that in PS?

Denver plays their second game tonight. I'll probably miss this one too since I don't have cable!

I hate being so far away that the TV stations only play games of the third rate teams like the 9ers and Seahawks! :rolleyes:

I'm here. I have a migraine headache (waiting for the liquid Advil to kick in). Sitting in the dark because the light is too bright and causes my head to hurt even more. :(

I have a lot planned for Sept., so I don't mind being home tonight.
