Satellite tv question

any of you dudes know how to mount the sattelite without drilling holes into the wall?


trying to do it on my balcony.

btw devastation do you have that programming machine and how do you get codes reprogram it?

You may be able to use hose clamps to mount it on a railing of a balcony or a post/pole.

The codes usually come with support from where you purchased the "machine". I don`t know too much about it but I see the ads al the time. "Free support for one year with purchase". etc.

parents have dishnetwork, an uncle/aunt have directv.

Benefits are affordability if you get the basic package of dishnetwork. $25 a month.

The prices for directv and cable are pretty much the same in my experience though.

drawbacks are like others have said, if you want more than 1 room to have it you might need extra recievers (or you can just use one and hook that one up to another tv if you don't mind the wires) and in bad weather the picture has problems.

quality is pretty much the same from what i've seen.

Yeah but I hear it`s every week or so you gotta reprogram.

depends on who you use. if you use public codes they get jammed pretty quick. if you have a private service it'll go much longer.

I asked this before... but the emulating thing does`nt work anymore? I don`t understand why not? It was a great idea.

Who has it and what are the positives and negatives with it.

My cable is going up again this month and all I am getting is a couple channels that I won't watch anyway. Plus with my RR service, my bill is right at $100 a month for basic cable.

All the porn channels you have must be killing your bill.
