satanists......

I been doing a little research on differnt religions, & would like to know your view point as to where youll be going when you die? Since you believe god & the devil is the same person or spiritual being, I take it you believe when you die there is no after life? Or have you accepted the fact that you will be burning in hell for a eternity?
Also, what made you become a satanist? What turned you away from the christian beliefs?

I'm not a Satanist at all but I have read the Satanic Bible and The Devil's Notebook (maybe it was handbook). I borrowed them from a buddy back in high school and read them one night while I was high.

Here's a few of the things I remember about the religion as it pertains to the Church of Satan:

- They don't actually believe in Satan, yet use him/it as a symbol.

- They said in order to believe in Satan as an entity, you also would have to accept the fact that there is a God too, which they don't.

- No heaven or hell, enjoy your time here on earth.

- They belive in indulgence instead of abstinence.

- Hate anyone that is in your way.

- Dissassociate yourself from "psychic vampires" meaning the people who feed off you and drain your resources and energy.

- They don't ritually sacrifice animals or people for that matter.

- They aren't the typical crack smoking, dog mutilating, child rapists that most peope think of when they think of a Satanist.

- They do believe that you rule all beasts and should do what you will with them.

- Homosexuality and Bestiality are ok, basically anything you derive pleasure from, sexual or oitherwise, is ok.

- They believe in magic, rituals, and incantations which the former dark pope and author (La Vey) claims to have worked.

- You should celebrate your birthday as if it were the greatest holiday.

Those are some of the main points that I remember. They made a few ponts that I agree with but I already felt that way before reading the books. Same deal with the Holy Bible with me. They both have ideas I agree with but were nothing new to me. They were both loaded with a lot of BS and both want you to conform to their ideals and philosophies. I found the King James version of the Bible to be a more enjoyable read. I mainly prefer non-fiction books, so I doubt I'll ever re-read either of them again.

I watched an interview with Lavey on Geraldo once. He was really fat and out of shape, that in itself turned me off.

Satanism I think is for angry people. I follow the Dharma and it is very useful pragmatically.

If you take away the rituals the descrition fits for lots of people...
maybe some people do it intuitive and most of them would consider themself good.

Is that Antone Levey.... ??

I studied satanic symbols in high school just out of curiosity....and read the book "Say You Love Satan" - which was a true story about a guy who killed for Satan..... weird stuff...

I'm fascinated by other people's belief's and like to learn everything I can about different cultures and religions... It's interesting to me, but I don't always agree...

I guess that's the sick side of me that likes to rent all the Faces of Death and watch them even after I've got a sick disgusting feeling in my stomach...

Same with rotten.com - some nasty nasty shit there....

6 feet under. Unless my relatives choose another burial method. They could put me in a garbage bag and throw me overboard at sea for all I care. I'm dead, why should I care...

Are you sure it was Anton? I don't see him speaking to Geraldo let alone being in the same room with him. He was never fat either. I think you are talking about someone who left the church and started his own form of Satanism.

I watched this really fucked up tape called "Police Videos" or something like that... but at the end, there was amatuer footage of some woman satanist cult and they stabbed this guy and incapacitated him, and then they filmed themselves cutting off the guy's head... it was really fucked up, i will never forget that... but I guess they weren't true satanists, just really fucked up people.

I think I saw that on one of of the Faces of Death movies... They were chasing him through the woods and he was crawling on the ground and they caught him and put his face up to the camera and sliced his throat from ear to ear..... it was pretty sick... but apparently the video was taped for "training" on how to kill/ sacrifice .....

Would that classify as a snuff film?

Isn't snuff like what was in that movie 8 Millimeter...(or whatever it was called)??

In that case, doesn't there have to be sex involved ??

That's not what the book was about. The book was about a few teenagers on PCP, and a dispute ensued over a drug deal gone bad.

The Satan stuff is propaganda. A guy named Kasso murdered another kid named Gary Lauers over PCP, and as he was stabbing him he made a few coments about Satan.

It was a vicious crime, but a lot of the Satan undertones are inaccurate. Satanic shit made for dramatic effect - it happened in a wealthy area on Long Island.

Yes, they were a bunch ot teenagers on drugs - but if you remember, Ricky got into the whole Satanic thing...and began marking symbols and their smoking hangout, and when he was killing Jimmy, he said over and over, "Say you love Satan! Say you love Satan!"

So, they had their differences - yes, but they boy that killed him was getting involved with cult traditions..

That would be Blanche Barton. He didn't leave the church, but had an interview with Geraldo about the book he wrote on LaVey.
