Sanitary needle question.

Once I inject and I asperate, and notice blood........ Is it really that bad to pull out and inject again with that same needle? Or do I definately need to switch needles? Reason that I ask this is that I only have theh exact amount of pins for my shots, so I can't fuck up. So again how bad is it to re-inject with the same needle if you get blood. thx

i know its a personal pref...but why switch its going right back in...how dirty can it get in a few seconds...and its not going to loose its sharpness after 1 poke...

why not buy some more. They are relatively cheap especially if comparing them to the steroid prices.

How much blood are you seeing, a lot or a little.

I only had blood show up one time and I immediately restuck it.

You are not worried about contamination here per se, but rather giving the blood a chance to clot and then re-injecting a clot. Think about it, its your own blood, so its not a contaminant. However, injecting a clot, especially if you happened to get it in a vein, is very bad.

Where can I buy pins from locally / not online. Walgreens? Any medical stores in the Chicago area where I can just pick up the pins. Thx

Most stores dont carry the pins you are going to want, just insulin pins. Try a vet or agriculture supply store. Tell them you had a litter of puppies or something. I used to go around and buy them, but it is much easier online.
