Microsoft was the first to participate in the NSA's PRISM project. They deny it though of course, along with most of the other companies now involved. Apple has even gone so far as to deny even knowing what it is.
Is it not scary to think they already consider the American public to be that stupid?

All this spying on everybody and recording everything. Every word you speak (over the phone), every email, text, letter your send, every link you click. To what end?
To build a profile? To prove what?
I wonder what my profile looks like, if I have one, would NSA profilers get a laugh out of how many midget porn sites I frequent?
And what could they possibly store in a facility this huge?

Enough to store the entire internet backbone traffic many years over. Most of the backbone traffic is just video, torrents, file sharing, downloads and other irrelevant crap.

xbox 1 is going to read, record and send off your facial expressions as you're either playing a game or watching advertisements. They will sell the data for probably billions by the time xbox 1 has run it's course. Don't be naïve though hansel, Sony's move cam will do exactly the same.

I guess Sony'd work for the Japanese Intelligence. All the countries, meaning govs. want to control as much data as possible.
The problem, IMO, is not how much info they get but the aim of getting it.

Well after the report this weekend of the Bolivian Preesident's plane being basically abducted by Austrians, just to search for Snowden, I'm not so sure how much I believe this report now
