routine question

Sub-Zero

High End Bro
Platinum
iv always had weird splits and i tried 5x5 which kind of worked for me, but i want to hit my chest twice a week withotu neglecting shoulders, and i cant figure out a way to do it without probably over training my triceps or shoulders...

i was thinking something like

mon- chest/bi
tue- legs/shoulders
wed-off
thurs- chest/tri
fri- back/with a little bit of bis) -would i even need bi's here?

IM SO CONFUSED someone help me

mon-chest/shoulder (only raises)
tue-legs/bi's
wed-off
thurs-chest/tri
Fri-back/shoulders(press)---do not think you need bi's here.

I just don't raise and press in the same day.

Sublime, why not follow suit and give Madcow's 5x5 routine a shot? You'll be able to hit your chest thrice a week, while focusing on the best exercises, cutting through all the bullshit, and end up with some nice size and strength gains.

ill check it out

Give it a try man. You won't be disappointed.

You don't need isolation for the traps, calves, biceps or triceps.

Heavy squatting and deadlifting will stimulate overall body mass. If your quads and hamstrings grow, and you're adding weight, your calves will follow. As your bench and row increases, your triceps and biceps will grow. A row or pullup is better for the biceps than a direct curl.

You have no need to waste energy on petty isolation movements. Give it nine weeks of your life, eat a ton, and if you don't like it, never do it again. You have no reason not to try it.

Oh, and you think it's so little? Go squat three times a week, deadlift along with squatting one day, and lift with such high volume and frequency in the core lifts. You'll find that it's not "so little".

Day2-Back/Rear+Side Delts/Biceps
