Rotator cuff tear

Thanks for all the info. I do not want to have surgery. I really believe with rehab and gh it will heal on its own.

Many doctors are the biggest fucking assholes around. They don't like anyone second guessing them, especially when they can make a lot of money. They are wrong many times.

I just printed up a list of 100 docs insurance covers if not receptive to my theropy I will cross them off my list in front of them walk out and go to the other 99 til i find one i'm comfortable with.

my ortho doctor was the same, i tore my labrum, and he was like "we could schedule you to come in for arthroscopic next week" so i dropped him then went to see another ortho, he examined all my charts and said that itll heal on its own, with a little physical therapy, and a lot of rotator cuff exercises; i did that and my shoulder is stronger now then it was before i got injured. most people i talked to after have artroscopic surgery, tells me the same thing, "its never the same"

ed.

i would defiantly get a second opinion, everyone has tears in there rotator cuffs, just depends how big they are, make sure you need surgery before you jump into anything, and on the other hand, make sure you can recover 100% without surgery.

i tore mine also, wish i had surgery right off the bat, i have lost like 25% of movement in that shoulder, sucks. but surgery is never a 100% guaranty. just be careful with your choices, and stay on the ball, because time does matter with these injuries.
