After working in the auto industry for 12 years - I know exactly what Month End is like......Oh and don't go at YEAR-END - they are even MORE desperate....

Ah! Don't say that. I just bought a car yesterday and pick it up in one hour. Now ya tell me...

I’m in better spirits today, girls…definitely doing a lot better than this past weekend! Thanks for checking in on me I know I will eventually be fine, but it just takes some time unfortunately.

No car deal after all even though I spent another 2 hrs at the dealership today. Jens, I thought I could turn their month end desperation to meet quota to strike a good deal for myself.

What kind of car you looking at? I hate buying anything over $100 where people make commission. It drives me nuts!!!!

Me too, Tre! I am looking at the BMW 3-series. The 2007 models are coming in Sept so they’re starting to try to get rid of the 2006 ones. But we just couldn’t close the gap between what I wanted to pay and the “best offer” the dealership put out, so I just got up and left. I figure if I can’t get the price I want, I may as well get a custom ordered 2007 model instead of just taking what’s on the lot now. I just will have to wait a few more months.

Hope things are getting a little better for you girl... Unfortunately, life sucks sometimes, but we all know you're a stong person. Just hang in there...

1 small granny smith apple
15 almonds

7:30pm: Upper Body Workout

Chest Superset
4 sets of:
15 full push-ups + 15 reps of incline chest press with 20lb dbs

Cable Flys (lying on incline bench with feet up)
1 x 10 with 35lbs
3 x 10 with 20lbs

Back:
Seated Low Rows – 4 x 12 with 55lbs

Shoulders:
One armed Arnolds – 1 x 15 with 10lb dbs, 3 x 15 with 15lb dbs

8:45pm:
PWO shake – 1 scoop ON whey mixed with water

10pm:
4 oz broiled salmon
½ cup kidney beans

Totals: ~1255 cals (135g carbs, 136g protein, 29g fat)
Macros: 40c/40p/20f

You're right - I do need to start logging again, but life is just so hectic right now with a new house, new car and finally getting my dogs back and settled. I can't keep any consistency at all, to anything... A comp next May should get me back on track, but until then I'm afraid it's hit and miss.

I worked with Benz's....but Beemer's shouldn't be too different.......the 2007's usually come out in September....so if you can wait, maybe check back with them in a month or so cuz then they may want to strike a better deal to REALLY get the 2006's off the lots.....

If you can get the deal you want, may be worth taking an '06......

I like BMW's also.... but my dad works for GM so I try to support him and the All American thing. Then again what is really American any more

Good luck with the continued car shopping, RT! I am quite shocked that you couldn't get a month end deal! I looked at the 3 series when I was buying a car as well, but BMW dealers tend to not want to knock down prices AT ALL. In my opinion, if they are that proud of their cars...they can keep them!

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking too, Jens. I figure I'll try back in July/Aug again for the 2006 and if not, I'll just go with the 2007. I'll keep everyone posted.

Fly, what did you end up getting instead? My last 2 cars have both been bmws and I've liked 'em.
