Ronnies predicted Mr O bodyweight....

LMAO.. he looks like such a herb in that early pic.. Ronnie will prolly win, but jay and kevin will be on top too!

I just noticed... that kronk stole my post... no wonder there is only 31 replies here... if my name was under the author... we would be up to 70 by now.

Same thing with Cormier. If the man dedicated one year to training and diet he could be the Mr. O. Instead he eats shitty, trains half ass, and partys year long. Best genetics ever IMO.

AAP, do you know if Kevin is able to squats again?

He was supposingly healed from that hernia surgery around Christmas time... now whether or not Kevin wants to do squats is another story.

That man's laziness is the only reason he has never been allowed to wear the Mr O title. He comes in and gets 2nd place whenever he wants and then goes out and places 5th at some other show. Sad. If this man trained year around... he would be unbeatable.

Yep..... and now add personal problems on top of it. I keep telling him if he were to move to Kentucky, he would be Mr O in the next year.. because there is nothing there to do but train.....

He really isn't training year round? WOW.

If this is true, then I don't know what to say. I guess genetics are much bigger of a factor than I assumed them to be.

Yep, Kevin pulls an Arnold. He really only trains hardcore, and does the juice a few months before a show. In some ways I think it's smart, as he isn't abusing his body that much. But if he just gave it his all for just one year, he would shock everyone and be Mr. Olympia.

Chris dissapoints me in this way as well. He could probably match Jay and Ronnie in thickness with 2 years of dedicated training, and without the gut.

Flex fills out this line up of 3 of the best guys to ever compete, and never win. When Ronnie beat him by that one measly point that year, it was pathetic. Flex was dead on that night. He should have also beated that bloated blob Dorian once or twice. I highly respect Dorians work ethic, but Ray, Flex, Kevin had him beat many a time.

ps. On a side note, I can't stand Stan Curlytop Mcary anymore. Although I can't help but look in Flex each month just to see who he is hugging up on to get into a pic.

so AAP your saying he's juice free in that video?

if so, and im not disputing that, my knowledge on these matters is far from extensive, but, i dunno, that just doenst seem possible to me, to be that enormous, 100% natural? if so, good on him, but shouldnt he be significantly bigger now?

like, leaving that size in the dust?

He doesn't mean in the video, but rather in the early-mid 90's when Ronnie wasn't even placing in shows. I don't believe totally natural (he had those gh and slin obliques), but I don't think he was taking 3grams a week either. Ronnie was a powerlifter and built a large portion of his mass then. I can believe that someone with incredible genetics, a sensible powerlifting routine, lots of food, and a little bit of juice can get as big as he was in his early shows.

You have to remember that guys like Steve Reeves, Reg Park, etc built muscular bodies without AS. It is possible to build a great body without AS, it just takes good genetics and time. Although I'm certainly not claiming thats the case with Ronnie. :)
