Roll-Up Forearm Exercise???

The exercise I'm talking about is where you slowly roll up a weight with a stick attached by a rope. You hold your arms out straight n' steady while you roll the weight up overhanded and backhanded. Do you think this would benefit a bulker cycle to build up forearms, or just for cutting them up. I know in the past they have helped shred my forearms, but never tried them to bulk. What ya think?

I don't have experience with bulking the forearms, but would to hear more from other members...

As far as that exercise goes, I love it. Me and the bro's I workout with have a weekly competition with the "wheel of agaony". I have a love / hate relationship with that apparatus.

We also do bech supported wrist curls and finish with standing reverse wrist curlbacks. When I'm done my hands barely function... :D It's a great pump....

Yeah, my forearms have always been my largest, in proportion terms, muscle group, and always my strongest for my size. I remember my 1st year in junior high there was a P.E. contest where you did an over handed pull-up, and then you would see how long you could hold your chin above the bar. I wound up beating a senior in high schools record by 30 mins., and most only made it 2-3 mins. tops. I did it for exactly 39 mins. 20 something secs. n' stopped because class ended n' my ride was waiting. All from that exercise n' a 3 liter of water @ the end of the rope. Well anyway, I neglected them for the fist 6 weeks of my first cycle n' need some catchin up to do. I didn't think I'd grow that dam much, but now it's starting to bother me cause it looks a lil odd. It wasn't that I didn't work em @ all, but just not much in comparrison to the rest of my muscle groups. Need HELP getting proportioned. THANX, Gyle!

it's a good exercise for baseball players. it's more for the wrists than building up forearm muscle.

Good for shotting hand guns and bows too. That's how I learned it, through a gun shotting class I took when I was 10-11 years old. Helped me hold the gun straight to aim better.
