roids instead of surgery

hi, guys me again.alright im still tryng to figure this all out. i ordered some book on steroids but they are taking forever to come in. so il ask for just personal opinons. alright i ave a laberal tear in my left shoulder. at first it was hurting ike a bitch. but ow the pain and instances were i hurt it are few and far between. my doctor is pushing for the surgery, but i just cant get myself to schedule it. they are saying i wont be able to touch a wrestling mat for nine months... all i can say is f that. my question is. what if i take the nine months off the mat. but do low dosage of anavar or a little test. and instead of having my arm immobalized, i can use it still foreveryday use. but train with very low intensity. i mean like therabands and such.... i just cant imagine having my arm imobalized for 2- 4 months. im just looking for ideas. i know that there probably isnt many orthopedic surgeons on here. but any advice will be welcomed.. oh yeah and would steroids help heal the labrum, cuz its not a muscle????

Dude if your doc says dont use your ARM/shoulder
DONT. And dont value any opinion on here agaisnt your doctors for he has the PHD and MD license.
LOOK into IGF-1 And PEGMF
IGF-Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) - Created by the liver from GH, IGF-1 promotes nitrogen retention and protein synthesis, the growth of new muscle cell (called muscle cell hyperplasia), and mitogenesis (the growth of actual new muscle fibers). In addition, it promotes the development and repair of cartilage and it promotes bone density - making this of tremendous interest to the recovering injured athlete. Of even greater interest is that it is now available by itself from underground labs without a prescription where it was previously only available as a by-product of GH administration.
protecting against heart disease. A lot of bodybuilders, especially the younger ones say, "Just tell me how to get bigger!" But, even though I know that a lot of people are interested in IGF-1 primarily to add to a steroid cycle to get more muscle gains, new research shows that you should probably add IGF-1 to your cycle to actually make it safer because of newly discovered cardioprotective benefits. This section shows you how to use it to get bigger and to make your cycle and overall health better.

Mechano Growth Factor (MGF) - This is a new analogue of IGF-1 that has become increasingly more available over the past few months. This article is all about this mysterious hormone that seems to be only whispered in e-mails and PMs on the ‘net. In one study, MGF caused a 20% increase in the weight of the injected muscle within just two weeks! Further investigation elucidated that this was actually due to an increase in the size of the muscle fibers. The implications of this are truly awesome and can help anyone compensate for lagging body parts.

theres more shit out there, and those are QUOTATIONS
hope its helps big dog

I was the same way and put off knee surgery for many yars thinking it would all be worse after surgery anyways and also didn't want time off the mat!! finally got the surgery done (well actually two reconstructives and 2 pin removals) and my knee is much much better, aside that I now have arthritis because of years of patella dislocations... if I had just gotten the surgery done in the start I would have possibly saved myself from what has now become a total knee replacement in my not so distant future... probably before I'm 40 unless they come up with some miracle drugs!! take the time get the surgery heal up fully and then hit your cycle bro!! trust me on this one!! my ignorance and stubborness eventually ended my college career!! and there's more than just some pain in the leg on that one... when you get it taken away from you you lose your guts with it!! and that's a much harder recovery!! get some second even a third opinion!! the doc you have now that is telling you you'll be immobile for 3-4 months may not be the most up to date surgeon around!! so call around and find out who is the best guy for the job... and basically interview your doc's!! good luck to you bro, keep your head up and be smart!!

thanks papa. i know what you mean by guts going. i can just fee the fire dwindeling. all i want to do is wrestle. i have never had any problems ever before. but something as small as a little pain in my shoulder is holding me back. i have beaten countless opponents on the mat. but i cant beat this. it just tears me apart.. i guess injury is part of the sport, i just have to recover and move on. like rulon gardners book. just keep pushing..( i dont know who i was talking to there, me or you guys. im just scared, im only 19, i dont want it to end here)

jesus christ if youre only 19 you shouldnt be taking gear anyways ask anybody

plus did you read the article i posted...............
there are alternatives kiddo

fucked my back up so bad putting it off, the recovery was worse then it would have been because i had to be hard headed and work out

fucked up my labrum a couple years ago and had the surgery. My was from a serious accident and surgery was my only hope for having an active shoulder.

did you have an specific incident or injury to your shoulder? (example: dislocation/seperation)

Think about it this way, steroids make you stronger which will in turn put more stress on the injured area which will make the injury worse not better.
Bite the bullet and when you recover hit it hard.

trust me bro I understand!! and I'm telling you from exp... DO THE RIGHT THING!!! and you already know what that is... but you were hopin some bros here might go with you on a bad idea and you know what thta was too!! if you want your career to continue to progress... then take the the time, get the surgery, recover... then think about hittin the gear!! my last year of wrestling in college... was gettin hard... I could feel the mat literally being pulled out from under me and an I was doing everything I could to keep it under my feet!! if you don't want the same thing to happen... don't go with your gear plan and do what the lil voice is telling you!! but like I said get some second opinions... there's always new techniques coming out that are shortening healing time and not every doc is equally up to date!! trust me on that one too!!
